This is a good game, but not as good as many rts out there. You might want to check this one out but still it leaves you wanting for more.

this, this my friends is THE best RTS game on a handheld console to date, it has all the best features like Skirmish, Story Mode, And everything else you'd expect, no matter the graphics that pretty much suck (but never lag) its still the best by far to me (i got the rom)

Everyone I know who played this game has hated it intensely...they say it's super slow to beat levels. Shame it won't come out in North America. Ys always has awesome music.

I know why they would hate it. The story is split into three chapters (all are very long and consist mostly of text); the first simply tells you the controls a certain points, the second gives you tasks and it isn't until the third chapter (that will literally take hours of text to get to) that you actually get to play proper matches, but the game is really good in proper game-play.

So the moral is "A novel's worth of narrative" isn't a good thing.

The levels are easy to beat... just move your hero to opponent's village and kill all. thats it.

It's the opening movie on the DS, a digital movie file. The in game graphics are nothing like this, there actualy more like age of empires. It's a great game though, even if the storymode is slow to begin with (realy slow, It will literaly be hours before you get to play an actual game in it; The back of the box says "A novals worth of narative" at first I thought that was a good thing...)
