@MightyTumur3384 I didn't argue that it was different from the manga/anime, I stated it was a curb stomping which is common in some of these animes. It's actually my main beef against this series, Kenshiro never struggles with any enemy except the main antagonist of the story. Kinda takes any drama away from fight scenes if your hero is unbeatable. On the other spectrum is Yu Yu Hakusho were Yusuke always barely pulls out a victory I guess.
@orwell9788 Mainly because it would be meaningless to prolong fights against people Kenshiro could easily beat. It's a false accusation to say Kenshiro never struggles. Shin, Souther and Kaioh managed to defeat him prior to his rematches with each of them, he struggled against Uighur and opponents such as Raoh, Falco, Han and Hyoh were complete equals to him, with him barely winning against Raoh.
raoh can keep fighting regardless of some pressure point attack doodad or not or regardless of what Kenshiro knows about Raoh's fighting style, as kenshiro found out in their 2nd fight, whereas once Kenshiro knew about Kaioh's style from the statue, and his matouki, Kaioh was a sitting duck, they monologued for like 8 minutes, at which point Kaioh did a pitiful attack of jumping from a high water stream, and getting pummeled once in the chest, fight over. whereasRaoh put up a much bigger fight.
they both have strengths and weakness, since most are aware of kaioh's strengths, i can say for sure that raoh's advantage over kaioh is that he can utilize touki which is fighting with your essence and not having to move your hands, and raoh has a blast aura that can knock fighters back 100-200 feet away very quickly often hurting the shit out of them, plus Raoh is much more physically tough than kaioh, kaioh relies a lot on beam attacks, raoh uses his fists, so no pressure point stuff counters
Rei got off kind of easily in the movie. He died relatively peacefully here, whereas in the anime he exploded when Raoh's technique finally took effect.
@agent136 No, that's not correct, at least not in the anime. Rei successfully killed Yuda before he himself died, and it was Raoh's Hokuto Shinken that finally killed him. After defeating Yuda, Rei said his goodbyes to Mamiya and Ken and then went into his house and locked the door, so that Mamiya and the children wouldn't be traumatized by the sight of his head exploding. When Kenshiro and the others hear the sound of Rei exploding, they burn down the house as a sort of funeral pyre.
you know, I wish we got two more HNK movies, seeing how this film only covered 49 episodes and I don't know how many chapters in the manga. I also with Toki and Mamiya were in this movie, but oh well, can't change the past, this is STILL one of the most epic movies I've ever seen.
@RippleRollerDa Indeed. The lack of Toki in the movie was one major flaw. At least there were the 5 HnK Gaiden specials as well. I agree with you that it's one of, if not the greatest anime movies.
While I like the idea of the film being remastered, I think it actually takes away from the grittiness of the wasteland. Not hating, but just my honest opinion on my favorite Anime ever.
I love the video quality. Thanks for the upload.

Wow...take out the cheesy rock montage and that was pretty much a curb stomping.

@orwell9788 Which is exactly what it was in the original manga/anime.

Quickest way to put hair on a Narutard's chest, is to watch Fist of the North Star. If hair does not grow, kill it like the rest.

Raoh, ,because Kaioh is just a lame copy

@kalai131 Raoh is better, but kaioh would have easily beaten him

@kalai131 In the manga it was implied 3 times that Raoh was stronger than Kaioh.

The Land of Shura seemingly believed that Raoh would be the next successor. So much for that.
