I also happened to see you at Grateley station the next day when Tornado made its run to Exeter. I would of said hello but I was on the chase. Check out my video of it.
Great set of sequnces, the bloke in hthe red top on the ladder watching the Super D tender first from about 6:00 is me and the man in the white jacket standing next to me is my Dad. We had a very good days' photting and thought the 9F and Super D looking superb on the freight trains.
Oh yeah, I remember seeing you further up the line earlier in the day. You had a rather idyllic location just by the foot crossing with an amazing view of the surroundings. I was a excellent day. Fantastic weather!
I saw 2 chaps with high vis jackets on walking up the line. 1 didnt have a working camera. His battery ran out and he kindly filmed for me on the bank. I assumed both of em had lineside passes with them.

Thanks! I think my next outing will be to see Bittern heading the Cathedral express on the 1st of Dec. First time ive seen an A4 on the mainline :-)!

I beleive we met a few times during the day. You managed to catch me at 7:18 (I'm on the left wearing red ear protecters)
I didn't even bother going to Ropley at such a ridiculous cost!
