I like this song, but, there is a background (scratchy) noise that hurts my ears. I wonder if he meant the scratchy sound to mimic opioid withdrawal. I like the way the song switches to the demerol part then it goes back to the morphine (harder) part. He sounds really p.o.ed in this song. He also incorporated audio scenes from the movie "The Elephant Man". I thought that was cool. But during his second child molestation trial and I saw him literally withering away, I felt sorry for him. I've been researching Michael Jackson since his memorial.... i wasn't familiar with his work believe it or not. All i knew about him was what i saw on the cover of tabloids in the grocery checkout. He was so amazing; he will never die, i am saddened by this song.
i miss him dearly, too, and i hate thinking of him ever suffering through pains and trials, but michael had a lot wonderful moments and experiences as well. it may seem he was 'forced', but what he did was his destiny, and he would have become this with or without his dad. at least that's what i believe. he had a magical and wonderful life, before evil people did what they could to destroy him, don't forget that!
A day after he died the 13 year old confessed that Michael didn't molest him, his dad made him say that to get money! It's wonderful to know that the molesting stories can be put to an end, but Michael's not here to share it with us and all the hell-on-eath it put him through. I've been jamming out to "Dont walk away" by him, all night. It's just a GREAT victory but terrible he doesn't get to see it.. it's hard to explain.
i'll have to listen to that song now...truly havent listened to anything but him since 6/25, only a couple exceptions. the whole molesting garbage-infuriates me to no end, and you know some people will never be convinced it wasnt true-only thing i can say is that michael knew the truth and no one could take that away from him. and hopefully he knows that all of us who 'knew' him and LOVED him ALWAYS believed in him. and i HAVE to believe that God is giving him more love than we could ever know!
I agree one hundred percent. I can't say that I have been a loyal fan my life. I just started liking him a week before he died. I felt HORRIBLE. Like a never ending distress.. I used to call him a child molester.. the hole thing, but it was because I read the tabloids.. I read online the stories of him child molesting and they clearly don't make sense. Thats why I think it's harder for me to get over for me because I just feel so guilty of calling him things that he surely WASNT.

Well I told my friends about it all, because they make fun of him, and they also stopped the cruelty toward him. It's a shame that I had to discover him just weeks before his passing, but I really want to help the world and keep his legacy alive. I do not want a miracle, such as him to just get forgetten about. wow. if there's such a thing as a cry for help THIS WAS IT. somebody.. just somebody.. needed to be hard on him and get him out of this.. no matter WHAT it costed them. the same way his father was hard on them to get them famous, somebody needed to practice some tough love with Michael and got him out of this. Uhh, He was or self administered Demerol an hour before the paramedics arrived. This per a friend in CA in the entertainment industry that overheard one of the paramedics. And told me 4 hours after the news reported the death.

I went looking for this video after the news mentioned his demerol injection about an hour before his death. I know that lots of people get addicted to pain killers, but to write a song about it shows that there must really have been an issue here. It's entirely possible that since he had been taking them for so long he was taking huge doses by this juncture to even feel anything. =(
I think you will find in the next few days/weeks that this man died of a demerol over dose, this song is not one of MJ's best but I believe it will become a very very important song in the MJ catalogue, he's singing of his own addiction and doom, that ballad in the middle of this song says it all. That doctor ran away because he knew that all fingers would be pointed at him! we cant blame this doctor for Michael feeling so shit that he needed his escapism (demerol) after the first sex scandle of 93. The doctor at the time of seeing MJ dead on the bed paniced and made some bad desicions like performing CPR on the bed and not the floor resulting in breaking MJ's ribs, but you cant blame him, from what Ive heard this doctor was a decent kind man.

I like this song, but, there is a background (scratchy) noise that hurts my ears. I wonder if he meant the scratchy sound to mimic opioid withdrawal. I like the way the song switches to the demerol part then it goes back to the morphine (harder) part. He sounds really p.o.ed in this song. He also incorporated audio scenes from the movie "The Elephant Man". I thought that was cool. Never heard this song before he died, never heard it on the radio, never heard the of the album's existence.

I've always been a fan,never let up and never believed the hype. But for the people who are only now discovering him or just now realizing his innocence and artistry,I'll try not to get mad or remorseful for him. Ya'll simple should appreciate him for who he was on your own terms. Not reporters or bloggers who are out to get the m ost attention or sell the most covers. ... he didn't take drugs because he just wanted to.. He was taking Demerol or Propofol(anesthetic drug that is used for seurgeries), so he could sleep, because of pain he had. He was in pain(back, legs, skin). So he was taking drugs only as painkillers... You cant live if you have pain every second. MJ RIP

I also plead guilty to the shit written in the tabloids. I used to get a perverse pleasure out of those articles. But during his second child molestation trial and I saw him literally withering away, I felt sorry for him. From then on, I no longer pay attention to any of those trashy stories written about him or his children. I was so happy that he was found innocent and prayed that he would start his life anew. Then THIS happened.

i miss him dearly, too, and i hate thinking of him ever suffering through pains and trials, but michael had a lot wonderful moments and experiences as well. it may seem he was 'forced', but what he did was his destiny, and he would have become this with or without his dad. at least that's what i believe. he had a magical and wonderful life, before evil people did what they could to destroy him, don't forget that!

A day after he died the 13 year old confessed that Michael didn't molest him, his dad made him say that to get money! It's wonderful to know that the molesting stories can be put to an end, but Michael's not here to share it with us and all the hell-on-eath it put him through. I've been jamming out to "Dont walk away" by him, all night. It's just a GREAT victory but terrible he doesn't get to see it.. it's hard to explain.

i'll have to listen to that song now...truly havent listened to anything but him since 6/25, only a couple exceptions. the whole molesting garbage-infuriates me to no end, and you know some people will never be convinced it wasnt true-only thing i can say is that michael knew the truth and no one could take that away from him. and hopefully he knows that all of us who 'knew' him and LOVED him ALWAYS believed in him. and i HAVE to believe that God is giving him more love than we could ever know!

I agree one hundred percent. I can't say that I have been a loyal fan my life. I just started liking him a week before he died. I felt HORRIBLE. Like a never ending distress.. I used to call him a child molester.. the hole thing, but it was because I read the tabloids.. I read online the stories of him child molesting and they clearly don't make sense. Thats why I think it's harder for me to get over for me because I just feel so guilty of calling him things that he surely WASNT.

Well I told my friends about it all, because they make fun of him, and they also stopped the cruelty toward him. It's a shame that I had to discover him just weeks before his passing, but I really want to help the world and keep his legacy alive. I do not want a miracle, such as him to just get forgetten about. Although I dont see very many people forgetting him anytime soon.

Yeah, I watched alot of biographys. I think' '84(?) was the year of Michael? Thats when Thriller was out and Billie Jean and all that good stuff ^_^. Ha, yeahI have been watching a lot of footage of him, that's all I have been doing since he passed. Well when he was younger it was just amazing. This little boy with the best boy around singing the lyrics so well.. His music was very passionate. It's so sad. Aaliyah, Elvis, Selena, Noutourious BIG, & now Michael? It's terrible :(

I know how you feel. I had such a tumultuous childhood and Michael's music really helped me through it. One of my greatest desires in life was to meet him and thank him for getting me through my childhood. wow. if there's such a thing as a cry for help THIS WAS IT. somebody.. just somebody.. needed to be hard on him and get him out of this.. no matter WHAT it costed them. the same way his father was hard on them to get them famous, somebody needed to practice some tough love with Michael and got him out of this. It's a shame.. and his WHOLE family is to blame. They should have got him home and kept him there, did what they needed to do, They all knew about his problem.

This is bizzare! I think his death is little odd. Like his family have said we need to know who was there at time and what other drugs he had taken before doc injected him. Surely though his own doctor would know and of asked what he had already taken before injecting him.Its a mystery and perhaps one we will never get to bottom of to save shame on him and family is he played part in his own death by accidental overdosing on medication

Uhh, He was or self administered Demerol an hour before the paramedics arrived. This per a friend in CA in the entertainment industry that overheard one of the paramedics. And told me 4 hours after the news reported the death.

I went looking for this video after the news mentioned his demerol injection about an hour before his death. I know that lots of people get addicted to pain killers, but to write a song about it shows that there must really have been an issue here. It's entirely possible that since he had been taking them for so long he was taking huge doses by this juncture to even feel anything. =(

About the song, i liked very much when the album was released ,its power and the beautiful bridge in between.
I'm sad too, but think over the very probable possibility of having died after i.e. Thriller...as many undeveloped young talents in history's music.
He gave us all,which is huge, there's nothing left. Although, his loss is truly painful, more for he himself than for us, i think.

That doctor ran away because he knew that all fingers would be pointed at him! we cant blame this doctor for Michael feeling so shit that he needed his escapism (demerol) after the first sex scandle of 93. The doctor at the time of seeing MJ dead on the bed paniced and made some bad desicions like performing CPR on the bed and not the floor resulting in breaking MJ's ribs, but you cant blame him, from what Ive heard this doctor was a decent kind man.

Michael was addicted in a short time cause he was diagnosed with some kind of a sickness. He got some medical stuff to use against the sickness, but he used to much so he got addicted. Taylor had the same problem but didn`t get addicted

Reading these words, 1 month after his death leaves me heart broken....
