  • I have big fists does that give me any benefit of the doubt???

  • @1Sifting “Size matters not, ... Look at me. Judge me by size, do you?"- Yoda

  • what do i do if my opponent has arms?......

  • @doubleoawesome97 Invisibility over invincibility.

  • He was right on the money.

  • OR! You could keep your hand loose right until your about to hit the object and close your fist and sturdy!

  • You shouldn't bring it right back, that subtracts from the maximum power you can deliver, to give the most power punches, you want too follow threw with your hand.

  • I have only one quibble with his technique. Striking a punch with the wrist rotated all the way can promote injuries to the wrist. I train in Isshin-Ryu and Shotokan karate. In IR, the fist stays in a locked, vertical position where the thumb is on top of the fist and you strike with the two large knuckles. In Shotokan, the wrist rotates, but initial contact is made with the fist in vertical position, and then it starts its rotation. I only do a 3/4 rotation, again, to prevent injury. OSU.

  • is it natural to experience some pain in my triceps after practicing this alot?

  • Holy crap I wouldn't fight him

  • Great video. Absolute precision is more important than any other aspect of fighting. Then speed, then aggression and then power.

    (in my opinion).

  • I NEVER SEEN THOSE MARTIAL ART FANCY MOVES IN REAL FIGHTING OR PROFESSIONAL COMPETITION.

  • @killthemall55 Correct, the best moves are simple, quick and hard to see; but, fancy moves look best on film.

You never saw “Pettis matrix kick?”

  • @killthemall55 In Pro fighting like MMA, you got 2 professionals SERIOUSLY TRAINED to fight, protect, last, win, hurt, etc. Of course the moves arent gonna "look" all action movie fancy. But say if a average joe blow picked a fight with a pro like that, then those moves will indeed look fancy because one guy is an expert and the other doesnt know the 1st thing about technical fighting.

  • dude I want your uniform!

  • great tips,thanks...

  • Very good demonstration with the proper technique.

The only problem I see is that the type of bag shown in this video should only be used as an addition to a heavy punching bag, not a replacement for it. Using this type of "bag" is very similar to shadow boxing and you lose the actual impact sensation of hitting a solid object (like a body). It's also very difficult to tell how hard you're really punching when you're striking something that gives so easily.

  • @xanthus360 I have both. I use both. Coordination Bag works footwork more, it can be taken to the gym, Absolutely more like shadow boxing (Plus its only $50). Practicing on the corbag keeps my teep straight so I hit the heavy bag with improved technique.

  • y dont you pick on a bag ur own size

  • not everyone has that bag in their house...

    whats a good replacement?

  • @Remoteshot Sparing is the best practice. When you can’t spar use the corbag. No corbag, then you should shadow box. (Block and counter-Leg check counter-switch stance punch or knee) Yang Sam Khum (3 step footwork)- Don’t stand in one place like in western boxing.

  • This looks neat. I may have to consider it. Not too heavy like a "heavy bag" so I should be able to put it somewhere in my house. Always enjoy good coordination training

  • how much does it weigh?

  • @otisfuqua About 4lbs. It doesn’t take great force to brake someones nose, it takes great accuracy. If you can hit the coordination bag you can hit anyone! FYI Check out the website for the newest version.

  • So if I got the right idea:

In your position (left food in front).. To make a punch with the right hand is in some sort "the fast punch" and make a punch with left hand is the a bit slower but more powerfull punch.. Is this Right?

(I like the calm and easy way you teach it... In other videos, people seem too agressive.. It makes believe that they just want to hurt and nothing more)

Sorry for the bad english ^^'

  • Were are the best places to punch in a fight?

  • @kdotmj Center-line targets eyes, nose, chin, throat, solar plexus, groin

  • @kdotmj also liver and stomach

  • @archiefan108 good luck, bro! :D oh, wait... it's already 2 months since you posted your comment. LOL!!! xDDD

  • Well i have been taking MMA and Brazilian Ju Jitsu for over 2 years now. And these are good basic tips to keep in mind

  • Speed = Power thats how it goes :)

  • Speed = Power thats how it goes :)

  • i want one.

  • where can i buy this, can somebody snd me an amazon link ?

  • @lifeisworth Visit corbag{dot}com On sale for $49.99 What a deal

  • i think...the worse advise was "always keep your head up"...that..is probably a stupid idea..no fighter..wants to expose their chin..always keep your chin tucked

  • @SushiR0ll Sorry for the confusion, Do as I do min 1:30 (Of course you tuck your chin). If you look at some of the boxing drill videos you will see people with their head down, too close to the bag. When you lower your head your more vulnerable to a clinch and knees.

  • i just wanted to know, if im right handed do i stand with my right foot first or my left?

  • @thehappydholguy If you're right handed, left foot first to do jabs and if your gonna do a power punch then right with your foot and body... Well, that's what I think.

  • It's not the martial art, it's the artist :)

  • if i was to by one of these bags, what would i have to type in to find them? coordination bag doesnt work, please maill me

  • @ryanbrereton coordinationbag,com

  • the more you hit it, the more it moves, the harder it gets.

we talkin bout gettin some skins?? lol

  • mason better watch out

  • i would recommend NOT to punch with the first 2 knuckles it's easy to break the wrist it's unnatural alignment and lot easier to break your thumb.........

  • @HyN0iK42 Nope. Your first two knuckles are the biggest, strongest and are less likely to brake.

  • @CoordinationBag In martial arts training I took years ago, I was taught to strike with the first two knuckles as well. There are several reasons. #1 Keep your first two knuckles in line with your wrists at all times. This keeps a perfect straight line all the way up your arm and makes it much less likely that you will hurt yourself. #2 Transferring your punching energy to the target via a smaller area of contact increases the amount of damage inflicted on the target.

  • @HyN0iK42 If you connect with your piny and ring finger you'll break your hand. Or injure it.

  • @HyN0iK42

make comment to expert without knowing anything, this is way to make friends.

  • @HyN0iK42 HAHAHAHA wow munch me with your others and ill laugh as you break your hand on my head and i hit you properly

  • what does that punching bag do how is that affective at all?

  • @drummerkid9q Inside the bag are weights so it won’t move like a regular double ended bag, it moves unpredictably. You use it like shadow boxing: kick, punch, elbow, block. It is hard to hit, if you can hit this then you can hit a person.

  • i like your traning thing , can you tell me more about that ?

  • @Frekless corbag.com

  • you keep your head straight up please, easier for me to take it off

  • @joeydakillah Sorry for the confusion, Do as I do min 1:30 (Of course you tuck your chin) If you look at some of the boxing drill videos you will see their head down, too close to the bag. The lower your head the more vulnerable you are to takedowns and knees.

  • Where do you buy those blue pads from?

  • @JoelD85 We made them, but that was the old model. Check out the new one: youtube.com/watch?v=eI3U37L9XLY the new bag was developed with input from black belts, Muay Thai champs, Boxers, Police and Military. It’s only $49 MADE IN USA

  • or just uppercut the bitch

  • Thats what she said to the title

  • thx man now i know this technique :)

  • he is southpaw ffs

  • power punch is your writing hand... remeber to pull the energy from the ground from your stance.. do not remove back ball of foot from ground it reduces power of the punch..

  • putting your power side forward is more effective. hit with your right and parry with your left. Anyone can dodge a right hook if you're standing orthodox when you throw it. (JKD principle)

  • the intro thing in the end was epic, and thanks for the tips

  • the kick at the end was sweet

  • im just like that dude im right handed but fight southpaw it throws people off :D

  • kamel, you retarded? lol... if you are the other hand. flip it. numbskull

  • get someone who isnt southpaw so he can relate

  • The technique is the same on either side. BTW he is right handed.

  • then why does he have a southpaw stance

  • In some martial arts you have your stongest hand forward so u have 2 strong punches ( for example Jeet Kune Do's Bi-Jong stance ) dunno if that is the case with this guy though.

  • @U8Kamel because he's a south paw, DUH!

  • @CoordinationBag I am right handed but i dont feel comfterble doing the hard punch with my left hand :/ should i just do it and get used to it or should i do it the other way round?????

  • THanks, gonna watch all series
