lol I know I have a 7.3liter V8 diesel dually ford f350 8ft bed crew cab weighing over 3 tons and it gets the same mpg a a hybrid truck almost half that size. Seriously I get 20mpg on the highway and Hybrid trucks that are 1000 lbs less get that lol.

I'm trying to get the point across that suvs handle worse than normal cars because cars that handle well are light and low to the ground. They will stop and control better. Your only theory is that a car with a bigger bonnet is safer because there is more of a crumple zone which is true but not a reason to buy a suv.

Obviously like you said you don't know much about winter conditions and i'm going to assume your European and live in an area where no one drives big suvs because gas is to expensive. I have a 2006 Lexus GX470, a 2007 Cadillac Escalade, and a 2008 Porsche Cayenne S. They all get about 12 miles per gallon. That's pretty good gas mileage. Buick Roadmasters get like 8 and Hondas get like 10. Truth is, I don't really care about Global Warming. Us people are being lazy asses about the problem. That's why people are just saying it's a myth. They don't give the fuck to stop it. Even riding a bike will help. A Prius will not help too much over that Land Cruiser (or LX470). Go green!

I know, I heard that, I read an article in What Car! magaizine, and it said how in the long-run a Jeep Wrangler is better for the enviroment than a Toyota Pruis, that really shocked me, I think to to your bit, you shouldn't spend loads on an expensive hybrid, just avoid 4x4s (unless you actually go off-road of course) and take into account the CO2 figures when purchasing your next car! Even if you don't believe global warming is happening, it'll save you money running the car!

Taking the catalytic converter off of your car can dramatically improve your horsepower output.
The best way to remove a catalytic converter is to cut the casing and gut it, but without removing the casing. Keeping the empty casing will allow you to fool vehicle inspectors into thinking you still have a catalytic converter.

When I first posted this video I was half tempted to remove the negative comments. One of the reasons was because that even though I don't agree with them they are entitled to theor opinion. I also felt they should stay as they really do show exactly how selfish and uneducated some people can be. Others I left up because I found them genuinely funny (read the "classist" comment!!).

I grew up with it and had a lot of great road trip memories. we have never had a single problem with it. ever. so if you think a commercial of a nice guy getting treated like shit will make me buy a prius then you have some serious problems. giving up that car would be like giving up a part of my life. I'm all for protecting the environment and I probably do more then most of them claim to do. I have a small house, I don't heat or cool rooms I don't use, I turn off lights AND use compact florescent bulbs 15 watts not 30, I don't circle parking lots to be closest to the door, I just walk. I don't buy into the "Carbon Ticket" stuff they try to use either to get away with using jets and things like that.

Your only theory is that a car with a bigger bonnet is safer because there is more of a crumple zone which is true but not a reason to buy a suv.

The U.S. consumes 25% of the worlds oil. That is because he live excessive lifestyles compared to other human beings. Since we require massive amounts of oil that we do not have, we have to buy oil and deal with terrorist-supporting nations; and, we have to fight wars over oil.

I have a 2006 Lexus GX470, a 2007 Cadillac Escalade, and a 2008 Porsche Cayenne S. They all get about 12 miles per gallon. That's pretty good gas mileage. Buick Roadmasters get like 8 and Hondas get like 10. Truth is, I don't really care about Global Warming. Us people are being lazy asses about the problem. That's why people are just saying it's a myth. They don't give the fuck to stop it. Even riding a bike will help. A Prius will not help too much over that Land Cruiser (or LX470). Go green!

I know, I heard that, I read an article in What Car! magaizine, and it said how in the long-run a Jeep Wrangler is better for the enviroment than a Toyota Pruis, that really shocked me, I think to to your bit, you shouldn't spend loads on an expensive hybrid, just avoid 4x4s (unless you actually go off-road of course) and take into account the CO2 figures when purchasing your next car! Today im gonna burn some old truck tires left in the scrapyard, along with some old engine oil to get the tires burning well, and chop down some trees and burn them too. Taking the catalytic converter off of your car can dramatically improve your horsepower output.
The best way to remove a catalytic converter is to cut the casing and gut it, but without removing the casing. Keeping the empty casing will allow you to fool vehicle inspectors into thinking you still have a catalytic converter.

yea another good one you can heat up the catalitic converter real good with a blow torch and the wak it one good solid time with a hammer it turns everyrhing inside into a powder next time you turn your truck on a big black cloud will come out but dont worry its just everything comeing out. Its pretty cool you still got your catalytic converter case but there is just nothing in it

i agree about people driving massive vehicles, but then again, we all get robbed by our goverment, by tax on fuel, road tax, tax on alcohol and tobacco, we cant even defend our own homes, in the fright that if we hurt the criminal who intends to take our possesions we will end up punished more than the criminal in the first place. Most of us work hard for our money and deserve at least a choice in vehicles we use. Isnt todays society so restrictive?

Cars only contribute a relatively small amount to greenhouse gas production. Have you ever considered that some people have large families? Or they live in places with a lot of snow and need four wheel drive? There are legitimate reasons for an SUV.
Greenpeace would rather advertise than actually do something about climate and their dogmatic and overly dramatic wholesale opposition to nuclear energy is not exactly helping.

I love it and totally agree with what it portrays, rant and rave all you want but like it or not this is how more and more people are beginning to perceive 4x4 gas guzzling drivers. When I first posted this video I was half tempted to remove the negative comments. One of the reasons was because that even though I don't agree with them they are entitled to theor opinion. I also felt they should stay as they really do show exactly how selfish and uneducated some people can be. Others I left up because I found them genuinely funny (read the "classist" comment!!).

listen to me greenpeace. I recieved that same car for my 17th birthday. a 98' land cruiser. its been in my family for a long time. I grew up with it and had a lot of great road trip memories. we have never had a single problem with it. ever. so if you think a commercial of a nice guy getting treated like shit will make me buy a prius then you have some serious problems. giving up that car would be like giving up a part of my life. I still thank you for the disasters you have cleaned up for us.

I'm all for protecting the environment and I probably do more then most of them claim to do. I have a small house, I don't heat or cool rooms I don't use, I turn off lights AND use compact florescent bulbs 15 watts not 30, I don't circle parking lots to be closest to the door, I just walk. I don't buy into the "Carbon Ticket" stuff they try to use either to get away with using jets and things like that.

That is Lexus GS...oddly with the badge ripped off the grill...why i have no idea. Anyways the engine was damn near diesel loud in this video and that is not the case. The sound was dubbed. I am in no way pro-SUV...i hate the bastards but they did the lexus wrong in this clip. EV all the way!!!!
