joeyboi87, please understand that Saint-Saens was consider another Mozart. He would have approved of someone taking his music and making it into something else. like Mozart, he did it so often himself...creating variation on someone else's tune. Listen to the beauty of what Libera has done instead of condemning them for using Saint-Saen's chorale (which he probably took from someone else) to praise God in voice and music. It's most cleverly done. I think the ol' boy would have enjoyed it.

@joeyboi87 ... I'm sure Saint-Saëns wouldn't mind. They are so talented and why not sing it as a 'gloria' .......it's totally beautiful ..... why are you trying to spoil this. Accept it and enjoy the beauty. Stop being a stick in the mud.

I LOVE Libera's performance of Gloria in the Crystal Cathedral! It is an appropriate setting, especially considering the lyrics of Gloria.

Wouldn't it be SPECTACULAR if all available past and present members of Libera would sing this famous passage of Saint-Saens' Organ Symphony, fourth movement, in an actual performance played by a major symphony orchestra?

Looks like there are lots of new faces in Libera. And it sad not to see Michael and Tom and know that Josh and Liam will soon be gone. They have all really put Libera on the international stage and will be missed.

But Libera will go on for know with Mini Ben up front. And we we soon learn to like and admire the new boys just as well.

Sadly, we will soon say goodbye to Josh and Liam and Ed, but also saying hello to a new but different Libera.

This song was sung on the higher temporary stage left from Easter. The pipe organ is one of the largest in the world with 16,000 pipes and cost more than 2 million $. The temp. elevated runway down the center aisle, also left from Easter can be seen at the end of the video.
