My youngest female weim since about 8 months can do doors like that both in and out, lock frenched doors like that, and sliders all just about as fast as I can, and she walks through them. Actually, I take it back, she can open locked french doors way quicker than I can.
I adopted a male and a female - litter mates three years ago. i will never go back to not having anything but weimaraners and litter mates (one boy and one girl). the best thing i ever did was get those dogs - love, love, love my weimaraners!!!!!!!!!!!

weims are so smart. i have a 12 year old weim named chase, but he'd probably try to scratch a hole in the door before that. i dunno though, we dont have any doors in the house with that type of handle.
the are so very smart.. i have 2 of my own.. they both open the refrigeator, know how to open the garbage( the one u have to setp on) open doors.. and manage to get on to of my table... incredable!! lol
Mine opens drawers not that cute when their is food in their that you were going to cook. SHe also gets ontop of the stove to lick the butter dish clean so I walk in the kitchen to look at her face to face.
