@burn2510 HI , I cant recall exactly, probably bass 7-8, mid 4 , treb 8, a bit of reverb and thats about it, i use a modified tube screamer for the solo, just be carefull with the mids, john doesnt like a lot of mids, hope this helps, and allways gage 10 strings for the win :)

Great playing! When every I try to tackle a song, I obsess over the nuances for days before I even attempt it... I'm about to take this song on but I wanted to ask you a question. In the solo, the passage on your video at 4:28 (what I believe is A, B, C# on the 2nd string) -- it sounds to me, on the recording, that there are more notes there -- like a partner bend, but I can't be sure if he's actually partner bending or using effects (harmonizer) to achieve it. What do you think?

trying to remember lol, johns tube screamer tone is so similar to srv's so probably, level 12oclock, drive7 or 8/very low and tone 12 o clock, just remember to split the front and middle coil on your strat and youll be good to go

Hi dude i learnt it a few days before this was the 2nd take the 1st was good but this had the mojo :) i didnt have any tabs, just play a bit, pause it play a bit more, just lots of patience, the best advice is to practice it slowly over and over. correct notes are much more important than fast ones when your learning a piece. ps check out the tutorial on my channel, peace.

Usually I play the song listening to the cd... same as you've done in this video, but I suggest yoy to use a DROP D tuning, in this way it's much easier. In fact I detune the low-E to D naturally when I was starting to trascribe it. 5/5 rate!
