The only thing that counts at the song contest is how many neighboring states you have. Nadine Beiler has a fantastic voice and she got her only 12 points from germany, germany got 10 points from austria. Countries like the Ukraine often got 12 points, from their neighboring states.

The song contest would be much better if only talent instead of relations would count.

It's a song contest, not interpretation. Obviously she has a beautiful voice, but the voice should only emphasize the song not the other way around. Can you sincerely tell me that after one listening you remember at least the chorus? No... Probably all you could say after listening this song is "wow, that girl really knows how to sing"

Personally I don't like our entry. No doubt that she can sing, but it's not about the singing.. you have to offer a show, a performance.. this one is just boring and soporific.. just standing in the middle of the stage isn't something special.. generally I do not consider this song as appropriate for a show like this.. maybe she would have had luck in the 50s or 60s but this is just too old school..
