tucker was great. Show some appreciation people. Get more with honey than you do with vinegar. Directed your unfounded tucker hatred at the banking cartel. Rockerfeller/rothchild are enemy number 1. (I'm surprise no one has tried to kill them..... )
Everyone should read "Confessions of an Economic Hit Man" by John Perkins. Also: "The Secret History of the American Empire", also by John Perkins. Educate yourself!
What Tucker said in his interview with NPR is starting to make sense. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Paul fan, but I assumed that the crowd would be inundated with 9/11 conspiracy nuts. These people are actually very level-headed and educated. I can't imagine a rally for another candidate being like this. A Giuliani or Clinton rally would look like Dawn of the Dead by comparison.
Very good point about the way that Ron Paul has taken two essential concepts that were on the fringe of mass media and has brought them into the mainstream of mass media: (1) The issue of American Empire and the blowback effect of our current foreign policy, and
(2) The essential theft resulting from floating currency and the control of national currency by private banking interests through the Federal Reserve Board -- also how government debt is an ongoing windfall for private banking interests.
Tucker Carlson is a mf. He says he supports RP but disagrees on gold standard. WTF - gold standard is a centerpiece of RP compaign. There is no liberty without sound money.
yeah so if tucker is not informed about these things or does not find them interesting, how was he able to host crossfire and how is he now on cnn(?)?
currently living and have lived most my life in south korea, i can attest to the notion that a lot of foreign countries with u.s. military bases don't want them there. there's a lot of demonstrations due to the military buying land from the korean government depriving many farmers of land...
the fact that there's no need for military bases in korea, which diminishes their relationship with north korea, and the u.s. starting a war with iraq, causing the korean government to side with the u.s. and aid them. this really dampens the relationship with americans and korean due to a negative stigma towards americans because of expanding bases and the war.
Awesome interview. I hope Tucker sticks to his own agenda instead of catering to MSNBCs and the mainstream spin. He can be a pretty cool guy when he wants to be.
A photogenic articulate 14 year old can literally 'stop a clock' and get all kinds of attention. We saw Tucker try to determine if he was doing his own thinking, which, from what I see, he was. Lets see how Tucker spins that one, hehe.
Why are you scare to "trust" tucker? He likes most of RP views and voted for him in 88'. I dont see what you guys mean when he's going to "spin" it. He may mention some of this on his show, might not. He seems to be there on a personal commitment rather than a proffesional one.
no, ur wrong dude, he did span it on one of his show recently, he actually thinks all the supporters ONLY knew about Ron Paul foreign policy, and he suggested that when ppl also know Paul's monetary policy and views on abortion, their supporters would stay away from Paul. But i hope these supporters can prove him wrong!
I agree with the comment about not trusting Tucker. I thought he was a flame thrower along with Bob Novak (aka mouthpiece for R.Chenney). Now, he seems to 'kinda' support Dr. Paul, but he 'damns him with faint praise'. One thing's for sure: he's jockeying his career path to navigate if RP wins, if not, he will fit right in with guiliani's Neo-Con-Men
Because they're private, it doesn't mean prices have to be astronomically high. Private institutions would be in competition so education value and costs wouldn't be fixed at such a high price. As of now, private institutions are high because we have a choice to attend tax paid public schools, which for the most part, are pretty terrible compared to what they could be.
In reality, the affect that privatizing education would have on economically depressed areas is about the same as the market economy has had on grocery stores, flower shops, chiropractors and book stores in these areas. No money to draw them in. You might say - well, they can still buy groceries in the hood... but a market basket of goods in the ghetto is nearly double that in nicer areas. You see how this fits?
You are still thinking in the current paradigm of education - privatizing education would bring about an explosion of 'neighborhood schools'. I think that of all the folks I know, it is the poorer ones that MOST desire a good/better education for their kids. They try to instill a work ethic and an educational ethic. Giving them back their money to put to use in the manner they best see fit would do wonders.
You are living on a strange and wonderful planet where the mom's aren't making 6 dollars and hour - 25 hours a week, living in subsidized housing, unable to write an essay, and relying on public education to AT LEAST teach their children basic literacy before they follow the neighborhiood kids and drop out. If her landlord gets a tax break for the privitization of schools, who is going to educate her kid?
I am excited that RP gets young people to think a little bit about politics - the only problem is that they are too busy to think a whole lot about politics. He is DEAD ON in many areas... but a competitive model for education . They had it before public education was invented. THATS WHY THEY INVENTED PUBLIC EDUCATION!
OK, you're right - I've only worked with these people. You probably know better than I. > Concepts like critical thinking and arming yourself with knowledge of all sides of an argument tend to become lost on groupies. The fellows in this video are prime examples. They sound like they are selling Amway. Network marketing for politicians. Just a few convincing facts and hope the customer is simple enough to let you close the sale.
Geebus shut up man. And give others a chance. Tucker's trying to be polite. Amazingly so. Actually makes me think he's atleast only partially brainwashed. heh.
You folks need to tone it down a bit - Tucker is actually as libertarian as one can get in the MSM. His point is that he doesn't think that 'america' in general isn't ready yet for libertarian policies, and he thinks most of Ron's supporters are single issue (war) and don't understand (and would not agree with) the rest of Ron's platform. Tucker would LOVE to see Ron win - trust me, he is no shill. He just has a healthy does of 'pragmatism' mixed into his libertarian beliefs.
tucker hasn't directly argued that point. he questions ron paul supporters by saying stuff like "are you a pro-lifer" Wow, tucker did a good job explaining his 'point' of how america in general isn't ready for libertarian policies. i think he mostly listened than question in this video.
ron paul's transitional policies are pragmatism at its greatest. he knows our current way of governing is wrong, yet he knows that there has to a practical approach to solving our current dilemma.
no - I am sorry - my reply was supposed to be directed at some of the other posts which are so 'anti-tucker' or feel that he is 'anti-paul' - your post wasn't of that variety!
The woman's comment at 4:00 is spot on. Even in countries where the US miliary hasn't pissed people off with active agression, they always in my experieces have said, "we want them to leave, we don't understand why they are here."
Tucker is owned by the mainstream media. Anyone in the mainstream is owned. In his heart he is supporting, as is Cafferty. Be careful of false patriots in the mainstream media of which there are many. Also be careful of the Christian Evangelical Leaders and the Minority Leaders. These people twist the truth in the name of goodness. This runs deep folks.
Google "Money Masters" and the THE EMPIRE OF "THE CITY" (World Superstate) part 1& 2 too learn more. Then you will see why Ron Paul is the only one that can help.
I cry when I hear people like this speak because it makes me aware of how apathetic I have become before Ron Paul came into the limelight and I'm not even American. Tucker was blown away by the 14 year old
wow - this is my favorite part of this six part series - that was just so uplifting and great at the end, and that is happening so much in this country, Ron Paul's support grows as kids who can't even vote yet explain him to their parents - their generation gets their news from online, and can search both sides of each story. Their generation is the one best served by Ron Paul.
These videos are awesome. The blonde girl almost had me in tears, and that 14 year old kid at the end convincing his bush supporting father was AWESOME! What tucker doesn't get with his skepticism is that when people are given the chance to hear the truth they WILL agree with Ron Paul.
From where did America derive it's authority to interfere in the affairs of other nations? The sooner we change our foreign policy, the better off the world will be.
Tucker is bad ass, I wish he still had a show, if anything I hope he starts writing again.
