Crossrail might cost a fair amount that's true but once it's there i'm sure it would justify itself financially. Plus when you see how much is being spent in London on the same type of thing, (East End Extension) never mind the astronomical cost of their Crossrail project then it does grate a bit. Glasgow needs new suburban or light rail, keeps the city moving and in the end that's good for the city's economy.

@martybhoy72 No particular reason has been given, it simply hasn't been included in the Strategic Project Reviews.
I suspect the powers that be see it (rightly or wrongly) as too expensive.

Fantastic. This is the first time I've seen City Union's track outside of Google Maps despite being from Glasgow!
Pity about St Enoch though. Maybe one day trains will pull-in to Glasgow St Enoch once again.
