  • It was an honour meeting Simon Wigg and celebrating the 1990 Ivan Mauger world long track invitational ride in New Zealand.Mitch Shearer & his Father(N.Z),Chris Watson,Tim Hunter & myself(Brenden Dipper,Aust) We all got together after the race in Christchurch and partied into the evening. Even with all the Girls chasing him, I still have a place in my heart for Wiggy. I will always honour him.

  • What a ride!!!!Not many riders had the abillity too pass someone like Nielsen like that!!!One of the most complete riders ever, superb at speedway, grasstrack and longtrack. Man how British speedway could do with him now. Legend is a word often overused, thats not the case with Wiggy, rip Simon we all miss you.
