Since the Fred vs Gen thing is obviously alive and well... I am a longtime fan of Gen's but I have to say that the Black video and the TTIB CD were the best of the acid house stuff. They really capture the feeling of what was going on. And if Fred wrote that music... Credit must go where it's due.

I also dig Coil and loved Psychic TV with Larry Thrasher, but the new PTV band is just a Godstar-revisionist thing with boobs. I enjoyed the one show I went to but the old dog doesn't have new tricks.

You seem to forget that Gen is just an M.C., I don't see why you let him effect you so deeply? PTV was not just Gen, the best moments of that band always involved the creativity of others, thankfully yourself during the above period.

You went on to create some of the best electronic music of the nineties, stuff that is timeless, I just don't get your obsession with Gen. x

There is no "obsession" with Gen. It's just fun to goof on the asshole and he should just pay the publishing royalties that he owes out of pocket since he is too stupid to know how to collect money owed from the bootleggers he chooses to do business with. Wished he'd stop talking about suicide and just DO IT !!

You should write a book about your time in PTV Fred, My Life in the Horror House or something, try and keep it as objective as possible, I'm sure you would get more money from that than any royalties owed (TTIB wasn't exactly the biggest selling album).

Failing that write some new music, put your energy into something worthwhile.

Thanks for your suggestions. I prefer to do what I want whenever I want. It doesn't take very much energy at all to write this. Don't expect Gen to rerelease any of my work ever again. I'd rather see it out of print forever than be associated with his self serving C.U.N.T.itude.

Well Gen seems to be enjoying himself back with TG these days, in contrast to the popularity that TG are receiving, I did see PTV a few years ago in London with only around 200 others, I don't think there's much money in re-releases, and your doing a good enough job keeping the 88 - 92 era alive on here ;o)

BTW, I hope I didn't come across as condescending in my last post. I would love to hear some new music from yourself, your work always had both character and emotion.
