Hi InnoWebTech, great review, also good to see you respond to all the posts! just wondering if i could use this headset with a 3.5mm Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Audio Dongle Adapter. The reason being that i have a stage piano (these don't have speakers) so when i'm playing in concerts it would be good to be able to listen to my piano direct instead of through foldback. thoughts? Cheers mate,
I haven't tried the Altec Lansing ones yet, they have gotten good reviews and nice design. So I can't compare but I would recommend the S9-HD on it's own merit.
I haven't tried watching a movie with them myself but they work just as well say watching YouTube videos from my laptop. Maybe someone else can comment?
hey i would like to know if it works with laptops...n can u also suggest few other bluetooth stereo headphones which are compatible with mobile phones as well as laptops please?
The voice quality is okay, not the best but you can have a conversation. It's made more for music but works for both. You can get it on our website listed in the video and description.
Nice review. Just got these today and the sound quality sux ass. But I dnt know about enabling HD. So I will try that. Otherwise I do like them. As far as call quality, My brother said he can hear me fine and I sounded good. He on the other hand sounded a little muffled and distant. We talked for about an hour so it wasn't that bad or else I would have just talked through the phone.
great sound more thant regular s9 but the problem is outdoors a lot spots i lose de signal when i am listen music :( the features are good the battery life is like 6 or 7 not bad
Yea I'd recommend getting these over the regular S9 because they fix one big flaw the S9 had. If you use them to go to the gym or bike/run the S9's were not sweat proof and would sometimes short out and stop working after a while. These don't have that problem so worth the $20 in my opinion.
Not sure if I get exactly what you're asking but I'll try to answer. The thing that sets these headhpones apart from others is the HD sound quality and one-piece design. Hope that helps.
It is compatible as long as your particular system was configured with built-in Bluetooth capability. If not you can always add Bluetooth to your laptop.
It's rated for 6 hours of playback but I haven't listened to it that long continuously. It holds it's charge well but depends on your use.
I haven't tried the Sony yet but it's very similar in features and it's also very popular. I tend to prefer the look of the S9-HD myself as the one-piece design seems more discreet.

Great review! Short to the point and you hit all of the features that were necessary.
1?, What is the adapter specifically for? Is it a dongle for my laptop or for some sort of fruit product? ie: (apple)

how do you turn on off the hd?
vgdd4 2 years ago
There's a button on the side you just press and hold to toggle HD on/off. You can do this while playing music to see the difference in the sound.
InnoWebTech 2 years ago
Do you know if this model still have the sweat problem? I have a pair of S9's and they broke down because of sweat.
hsanchez1 2 years ago
No they don't, that is one of the things they fixed for the S9-HD model.

Do you know if it works with a 1st Gen Ipod Touch?
and also how good is the range on them?
as in could i walk down the street with my Ipod in my pocket without connection problems?
Moopintot 2 years ago
You'll need an adapter like the Motorola Wireless Transmitter for iPod. The range works pretty well, I had no problems doing the same.

They are not labeled as such but that was one of the areas of improvement from the previous model (S9) which was notoriously bad with moisture.
