I go there every year and the wild thing is the best ride at valleyfair. Helpful tip: if u don't already have plans and you want to beat the insane crowds, go on memorial day weekend. My familiy and I go there on memorial day weekend every year and no ones there becuase it's early and everyones on vacation

This video is very satisfactory. I must say the tunnel looked more pitch black in the video than in real life. I love Wild Thing. This video brings the pulsation of the hypercoaster to life. Steel Venom and this ride are on equal account for my favorite ride at Valleyfair!

I went on it today and the line was interrupted because the chain thing that pulls it up stopped. On the ride somebody dropped their sunglasses. It was a really fun ride. First drop is scaryfun

Wild Thing is the tallest and fastest, but Renegade is the most intense! It feels like you go a lot faster than the Wild Thing because of all the quick turns.

Power Tower, Extreme Swing and Steel Venom are also awesome!

I remember my first time on this ride. I was six years old and I just barely passed the height requirement. I think I was still too small. This was back when they only had the safety bar, before they installed the seat belts. I rose three inches out of the seat on the first drop. Scared the shit out of me (almost literally). My mother pulled me back down lol. That didn't stop me from going again though! Best ride ever.

Its really scary the very first time, my friend started crying as we stopped and begun to go down, but the ride is great. You should go on it. The drop isnt that bad after you went on it already, it feels really cool, how weightless you feel.

its really only scary the first time. it actually isnt the fall that scares you. its the ride up. for your first time, take the seat by the stairs and railing. it'll calm you a little bit. also, don't look down. stare at the flags at the top of the hill while you're waiting to reach the top.

you go the slowest because you have to wait for the rest of the carts to get over the drop so you go rrrreeeaaalllyyy slow!

Same thing with all hypercoasters. The back is the best because you get the most airtime down the first drop. The front is boring because you have to hang over the top. The back gets yanked over the top.

actually mamba is a little different. the helix is different and this is 2 feet taller. also mambas second hill is alot larger than the second hill and this. and mambas red with silver supports. for me, i like mamba better (i love the view you get of kansas city from mamba and detonator.
