I definately agree with what your saying, as black women generally we don't appreciate what we have naturally enough we always feel the need to change into something we are not, alot of the time society makes us feel as though what we are naturally is not good enough
sure--we as a people are strong and proud, and of course there are a lot of proud black men but, not nearly enough.
"a better sense of confidence and pride than black women"..? i turned down a chance to be in a music video with a popular rap artist-once-because i didn't like the way the "brothers" were treating the darker skinned sisters on set. my mom is a darker skinned woman, and to know that i was there because my skin is light..
we have to admit, that the conspiracy against africans/afr.americans was effective as well-as-affective.
i know... we were expecting our men (especially now that they are in positions to do so) to be the strongest of us, and represent us, but , the truth is; there are only a few proud men of african descent that are stilll living.
@sissmmrbrze I doubt that there's only a few PROUD black men. I believe the majority of black have a sense of pride regardless how news media falsely depicts them. As a woman, I believe that black men have a better sense of confidence and pride than black women. Many black women feel the need to emulate white women (hair, makeup, demeanor) to feel appreciated outside of their domain; on the other hand, black men try to emulate successful black men in their field.
let me tell you. Black women go natural for a bunch of reasons. Just get to know the woman and figure out what she's about. Some black women have permed the crap out of their hair. Their scalps are burned and they are preserving what little hair they have left. Some folks do it as a statement. Either way...it's what's inside that matters most.

I dont attract the same type of people when my hair is straightened than when its left natural. I do get a lot more attention from men when its straightened than when not. I think that when scandalous said deep, she meant that she attracted people that appreciated things as they are, people that stopped trying to perpetuated the fake media stereotype of right, wrong and beautiful.
What the hell happened? The video was cut short. But I get what Scandalous was trying to say. Natural hair, natural anything in this day and age looks out of place, so its taken as a statement. Since society tells people how to think, and so far Ive noticed it has been quite succesful, people react in certain ways and are attracted to certain things, and turn their backs to other certain things even without noticing.
I agree short hair long hair nappy hair straight hair whatever! I love all the beautiful sistahs. I am more attracted initially to natural hair but a beautiful woman is a beautiful woman inside and out.
Black men are attracted to ASS and that is all. I have natural hair that is locked, but even the master teachers that I associate with, break their necks and stare at the biggest ass whether their woman is there or not.
It was going so WELLLL and then it cut off. Man! But thanks for what I did hear. It was great, and kind of what I thought. I agree with both of you. My experience has been that even dealing w/ my SCAB won't curl or curl rt hair I was still hot to a brotha. Hmmm. But interesting note, I was waaay hottah than when I was wearing my hair straight.
I am a white guy who LOVES natural hair on a black women. Why are they always perming thier hair. We don't even like strait hair. Why it does'nt matter if I like the women or find her attractive? I'd do her. Like Everyones always taking about Beyonce's weave. Trust me I'm not even looking at Beyonce's hair. Does she even have hair?
@seinfeildsucks I agree. But some black women perm their hair to make it more " manageable". Not realizing its damaging their hair and some think straighter is better. Everyone's motive is different. But yea, I agree at the fact that hair is a plus for guy but at the end of the day...........we're all pink on the inside. lol
boy..white women and white men are always swooning over us (black people)..Any black man or woman who dates a white person has a slave complex. Many white women have been interested or shew interest but i refuse to date a white women. I do not have slave complex. White people have this tendency to scream they are almost extinct and at the same time it is them who have the highest percent to date outside their race...what a shame.
@Darkness8Random Its all about the gene pool. Many white men find hispanic/black/asian women beautiful just because of the DIFFERENCE in genes/physical appearance all around.
Look up divorce rates dear...the highest failures are ww/bm...the highest successes are bw/wm, just Google it. Perhaps it is due to education and socio-economics, often times ww and bm 'hook up'...sex is overplayed, after that there is little they have in common. Bw/ww may be a bit more careful, having some common views before sex comes into play...FYI Divorce rate for bw/wm is 44%LESS than for ww/wm....if it lasts it can't be a "slave complex". Just sayin'.
@seinfeildsucks I am soooooooo happy you wrote this comment, because a lot of black women and black men need to know the truth from a white persons perspective, someone like you who embraces and except the natural look of our hair, so they can stop thinking their natural hair is ugly and a disgrace in society. I am not bashing you or anything because I real like what you wrote : ) Its just that most blacks, NOT ALL are still in the mind set in thinking European hair makes them look acceptable.
@SPierre23 White people don't feel the same because they do not share the same historical baggage. I don't need anyone especially a white person to validate me.
i am a man and i am 23 happily married it's not the hair it's God in you and then in mariage we can talk hair. but i'm glad my wife is natural long hair jut like mines
Well, I think it takes a certain man to take NOTICE** and actually appreciate it. Yes men notice women regardless, and this is true you are a guy and you mentioned you're attracted to both kinds but at the same time, I myself have run into guys who's said to me.. "you're a pretty girl why WOULD you wanna dread your hair, or go natural?" They don't regard it as beautiful - or even the girl as beautiful anymore...
They just put them in a box with "the others." Now as sad as that sounds, that's just the bottom line of how it goes - I would say - Majority of the time : /
But as far as this video. It isn't the hair that one wears or attraction itself. What true & real & good relationships & marriages between men & women are really about is Jesus Christ. Attraction is superficial & looks can be deceiving but with inter beauty because of dedication to Christ is what makes the difference & is everlasting. My hubsand loves me regardless I was natural when we met & grew my hair out naturally for health when we got married. he loves me because of Jesus not hair
I have studied Islam. Hinduism, Judaism, christian and budist faiths. I what made the most sense, what i believed in, what fit my values, and what my heart says. Christians and their priest who think them selves so wise because they quote scripture, repeat what they have heard in church and say how good their god is to them, do nothing more to me than fill me with pity for their waisted minds. I do not hate any one, except god, im not a bad person or violent as any stereotype suggest.
Living the Christian life reaps many benefits and blessings. My husband and I see and experience the power of God and experience His greatness. I would encourage anyone to get to know Him so that they may have a chance to be in Heaven because in hell there is no paradise only torment. The only way to have true peace and happiness is through Christ
Living the life of a Christian and following after Jesus Christ the Lord of lords and God of gods is something that will reap many benefits in no way does it keep one in bondage. satan on the otherhand is a lier and will deceive and manipulate and destroy anyone and anything that God and sin allows him to. He was Lucifer in Heaven and when he saw himself as an equal to God, God casted him out of Heaven where he is in bondage and sends out words of suggestions to those he seeks to destroy.
I hear every christian say the same thing. i was christian untill i was 17 , deacon at age 15 i know the religion very well. From my point of few GOD is a liar, GOD is a cheat. He did not cast out lucifer, lucifer left of his own free will and 1/3 of the angels followed him who believed in his views . Lucifer is not in bondage, His existance is seperate from that of gods. All religions will debate the views of the others enemies as it were could never agree on who is greater.
Some so called "christians may go to church every sunday or bible study through the week but do not know God for themselves. My husband and I do not go to church every sunday because sometimes things happen but we do have a personal and intimate relationship with Him which is what He wants from us. When I came to be into God I never needed to "study" anything else because I personally experienced God's power and presence in my life. We don't quote scriptures to people we just bear witness of God
not every Child of God is the same some are true er then others. And religon is set rules made by men God gives us choice. There are consequences either way the choice is ours. Either spend etnernity in hell or heaven quit simple
Hello, how are you? I have to say, your statements about religion are quite striking! This comment in particular caught my attention. I'm actually reading a book, well, two books right now that have topics related to your comment. They are "A Trip into the Supernatural" and "The Great Controversy." I'm going through them right now, and they are so eye-opening. If you're interested, grab a copy and read them. They will change your life; they're changing mine.
@FillmycupLord If by change my life you mean an attempt to drive me further from my faith and the faith that children's children will carry on after my demise, then i shall have to refrain. If not then gladly, reading the literature of intellectuals is always of value. AVe
And like i said Christians in my point of view are ignorant slaves. How many christians can say they know anything of satanism or other religions. How many Have studied it. few to none. Satanist Pride them selves on their knowledge for ignorance is unforgivable. Most satanist have Studied Multiple Religions to see how they think their ways. There is no Satanic bible. Everything we want to know about or lord we must go find, seek out for our selves and credit it.
My husband and I don't go by the "religion" of Christianity. The way we live is a way of life not a religion. We share to others what we experience from God personally not what we hear pastors and preachers say but what we have personally learned from God. It is not about studying "religions" but true Christianity is a way of life that one lives that has a personal and intimate relationship with God as God leads them.
well articulated, especially the "everthying becomes a fad " part. I can so see this whole natural hair craze growing to such an extent that in a few years time natural hair will be the norm.... then the rare relaxed-hair-woman is seen as the exception and hence desirable....and then the wheel reinvents itself. Its a vicious cycle really, so bottom line is WE NEED TO DO WHAT MAKES US HAPPY AS INDIVIDUALS!
personally, Im more attracted to women based on their religious beliefs more than the hair, i like women with natural hair. However because of my religious beliefs. I cannot be with a christian or any kind of god fearing woman. and most black women (im black my self) are infact christians, and not open minded to other religions that would be considered not of god.
No i am not an atheist that is a misconception, Laveyans also known as Modern satanist, Are atheist they see satan as a simple but do not believe in the existance of god or devil. Traditional Satanist which is what i am, are as the name suggest, Traditional, devil worshiping , cermonial based satanist. We believe in god and the devil. but worship the devil
Wow, that's interesting! It's a different way of looking at things. Well, I'm glad there are more open minded people out there:) I know it's tough in the black community to be either one. I hope one day the black community will appreciate the diversity on religion. Really, due to being indoctrinated, I didn't understand Satanism. I'll read up on it. Sorry for the misconception.
Satanist believe they are chosen by satan to follow him at birth, we do not believe in recruiting or converting others to satanism. So every traditional satanist , is one at their own free will. Satanist believe god is a tyrant, one who seeks to deprive mankind of knowledge and power greater then our own. and who seeks to control our lifestyle. Lucifer is our liberator rebellious angel. Who when we die will fight for control over this world and free it from the bounds of jehova
Satanist as far as an after life. Believe in a paradise in hell. The bible actually states that there is in fact a paradise in hell as well. for there are many levels of hell. not all are fire, some are cold, one them is our paradise. Satanist all so believe that once in hell, they join the legions of satan, and fight in the war at the end of the world. Satan is not ruled or influenced by god, his existance is seperate, his power endless and is greater then that of gods in our believes
Because of us seeing God as a tyrant, and christians and other god followers we view ignorant to them selves being ruled, for this reason Most satanist refer to christians as "slaves"
well said...at the end of the day its just hair!! and its so true being natural does not mean that you have to have a certain type of swagger...Because every individual has their own reason as to why they decided to do it!!! As for me i went natural becuase i figured it would be my FIRST step to self exceptence but also in my oppinion, economical !!! ; ) However i really do agree with yout video response!!!
You said that you are attarcted to natural hair and I would put you into the catergory of being a deep brother. If you watched her videos she said nothing about how you dress but what you are attracted to. I personally don't mind jeans and a shirt as along as it fits right... Anyway, in order to be deep one must posses an education. Thus, not every brother is deep. however every brother has the potential. Peace
Confidence should not come from THINGS, it must be cultivated from within Hair in general pressed, permed ,weaved, or natural does not make me feel good.
My LOve of GOD and the LOve of God fills me that is the source of my beauty and I believe guys who really like my me are attracted to the phileo & agape of love I project. Guys who really try to feel my vibe know that at my core is GOD's love.
I was not happy with my weave & relaxers cause I used those hairstyles ask a device to make me feel beautiful-like without weave and relaxer I felt ugly. for ex. it's like wearing make-up just because I feel like I need it to look good as supose to because I just like make-up.
I know a guy can be attracted to woman with weave or natural hair cause it'ts not about her hair it's her inner beauty.
My issue is that I am naturaland like african clothing, jewerly and what not but people act like I'm trya be some deep, person beecause of it. My depth has notthing to do with my clothing or hair.
(((HUGS))) Thanks for being truthful and real. You are right about hair becoming a fad. It can be for some and when something new comes out some of us will run with it too. That is why we have to know why we are doing what we are doing to our hair. It does not make us better, more educated, or more in tuned with our "blackness". Some people can relax their hair and afford to take care of it professionally and their hair is healthy and lovely. Thanks for posting.
did he really just call himself a negro man LMBO we just set back several years......but everything else was well said definitely

what draws you to satan? and what is the beginning of forever for a satanist9life after death?

Did you make a point? Because if you did, I missed it.
