And then it takes only 41 votes to uphold that filibuster and prevent any proposed law from coming to the floor.

The people responsible for the deaths of our soldiers are the ones who sent them there under false pretenses and now keep them there to save face, who won't admit the mistake because they want to salvage their political image. It is one of the most disgusting and despicable things I can think of, to allow more to die every day because of pride. Its a crime against our constitution and against the soldiers, who only ask that they not be sent into battle unless it's absolutely necessary.

Well I think Kucinnich just wants to get them out of there. The majority of the Democrats are in the same circle with the majority of the republicans. But there are some on each side, like Kucinnich and Gravel as I see it, who really try to get the truth out.
