Wait, did he say "that might not be the big news"? It was huge news to me! Maiden show was the greatest concert i have ever attended! theese reporters are obviously a bunch of dumbasses!
To all the people bitching about the coverage comparing Bruce to Travolta, not many "entertainers" are licensed pilots. Plus at least it's publicity. Who knows? Maybe this in a way made a few new Maiden fans.
yeah the closer you get to LA people get into metal more and more but here in san bernadino county people are more into inde stuff. Funny since i moved from LA county to here...
Both the LA are & SF Bay Area are re-becoming two of the biggest metal-heavy regions in the country. I went to Disneyland in August & saw at least 6 different people wearing the same Slayer "Seasons in the Abyss" shirt. DISNEYLAND!!! On top of that, I saw numerous Metallica, Iron Maiden, Anthrax, Slayer, & Black Sabbath album shirts. Hell, I even saw a dude in a Diamond Head shirt. How hardcore is that? XD

Well in Los Angeles the metal scene is alive and very very strong.

Yeah it usually is like that in Suburbs.
When you go deeper in LA county theres just a bunch of people that are into metal.
And right now I always see kids more into Black or Death Metal.
