@ThebigHurtt If the car works normal with the cruise off then i would think the problem would be with the cruise module.

they put sensors on the new cars for every fucking thing we should band against the sensors because they cost to much for one .

@jbadzinski Yes there should be a speed sensor just for the transmission.

My 01 olds aurora is getting code p0716 which is the "input speed sensor". Is that the same part?

Hi, thx for the video, where should I locate the vss for a Honda Civic 95 LX? Is it in the same location? I am having problems with the speedometer since it is not working, I already tried replacing the whole cluster and still doesn't work, the rest of gauges do work. If anyone can help me? I'd appreciate it.

would that technique remove the top speed limiter? if so would u ur speedometer still work properly along with ur rpm readings

I have a 1999 Ford taurus, I was asked for the 8 letter on my vin number (u) and from that I was told that my speed sensor was located on the top of the transmission on the right hand side is that correct and can u please so location.

You could use a GPS unit to find your car's speed as you drive and compare it to your speedometer.
