  • raw racing have a website? where are they located?

  • HA only 392 rwtq?! My 3v 5.4 Triton does 350 rwtq with no supercharger! With my current set up, if I were to install a Ford Racing Supercharger..I would have about 510 rwtq!

  • YEA RIGHT!!!!! 350 rwtq when the engine makes 390 at the crank????? So you are saying that you only lose 40 through the drivetrain.....maybe in fantasyland......LOL

  • Go to my page and watch my latest videos...I have it up on a dyno..and got the dyno graph shown in the video for proof.

  • @ashtrey05 hey man watched you vids of your ford and that thing moves!

  • Caseys00: thanks for watching! I've put a lot of work into that thing.. Stock 0-60 for my truck was 9.6 seconds.. With a CAI and better muffler with a tune, it was about 7.5 seconds.. Which is a HUGE change for just those three mods. Throw in the rest of the stuff I've done, it's now under 6 seconds.. Fastest is 5.4 so far. Top speed 140.

  • @ashtrey05 thats a big change! I put a 222/224 cam in my 4.8, it moves alright but will be even better with a 3000-3600 stall behind it. Search cammed 4.8 its a black single cab.

  • I am talking stock engines with a SC, not trucks like your which have been modified. Nice truck!

  • There were about 30-40, 2007 5.7 Tundras with bad camshafts from a supplier. When they failed Toyota replaced the engine and gave the owner a 7 year 70K mile warranty. The entire drivetrain on the 5.7 trucks is designed to deal with the added stress and HP of the TRD supercharger, whether you install one or not! Bolt a SC on a Ford, Chevy or Dodge and your truck is living in dog years, better get the tranny repair guy on speed dial!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @darknes7800 You can get magnachargers installed on gm trucks with a warranty also, and how long a trans last is in the tuning too. Its called Torque management.

  • Yea, a warranty on the SC, but just like the guys who do the "tuning" of the Duramax trucks.....blow something up and you have no factory drivetrain warranty. I know this for a fact as a friend of mine is a service manager for GM......mess with a SC or tune a diesel for more HP or torque and you have no warranty from GM, period. My point still stands that the Toyota 5.7 was DESIGNED for the TRD SC.

  • @darknes7800 ehh, if your worried about the dealer pick up another ecu, and tune it NOT the one that came from your truck. If for some reason you have a problem swap in the stock ecu and take it in. Supercharge the gm 6.2 and compare it.....

  • OK??? Spend $1500 for an backup ECU??? I would expect the 6.2 with a blower to make more HP than the Tundra 5.7, its a half liter larger displacement! I have owned Fords and GM, I simply like the Tundra motor, it make great power and tourqe from 5.7 liters. I am saving my cash for the TRD SC this summer.

  • you dont need a new one, a used ecu will run from 75- 200. From the factory the 5.7 is a stout setup tho. I like the single cab 4x4 tundras but for what they run pricewise, i think ill just mod my truck.

  • The F150 transmission handles up to 750 tq stock. Which is pretty good. You can throw a blower on and it shifts just fine. I'd put a fan on that stock tran cooler though.

  • Depending on which body style you want... They actually come with the 236hp 4.0 V6's standard...310hp 4.6 or 381hp 5.7 optional. The 5.7 is not much more money and about the same MPG. Ive seen a few break camshafts and come apart, but theyre good engines, tons of power. Dont break a 5.7 unless you feel like buying a $15k motor though! For the price it beter make alot of power

  • Theyactually come 5.7 stock, the only way you would get a 4.7 or the new improved 4.6 is if you dont want to pay for a 5.7 or if you have a company turck tundra

  • all the new tundras come standard 4.7 liter but most people buy the upgraded version which is the infamous 5.7 liter.

  • thats not the new tundra is it cause stock it has 381hp at the wheels and with a sc it will have 502-520hp

  • No comprende sorry.

  • it dont have 381 to the wheels,

    381 is fwhp,its about 305rwhp stock usaually

  • Comment removed

  • umm i dont think so bro i wish it was but its 381 fly wheel horse, in 305 ish rear wheel horse, witch is actual horse to the wheels

  • 5.7

how much are those pulleys i like youre tundra i'll post some pics of mine later

  • near 350$ at 4wheel parts mane big diff

  • Comment removed

  • @tundrablack no budy stock is 381 at the crank 401 tq at crank, and look at it yes it is an 07+

  • heres atip to dyno it from about 2500rpm to redline. manually switch the tras into 2nd gear. start the pull from 25 mph, anything less and it will kick down into first. second gear is good from 25 mph to about 65. you will get a much better pull this way
