Stairway solo is so easy... Achilles is a lot more complex

@StillStuckLearning In my opinion Achilles is harder than Stairway. I would say this one's definitely intermediate, whereas Stairway I would say is actually easy comparatively. Definitely not a HARD solo, though. Just takes a lot of playbacks to get the little intricacies and timing. Also, in my opinion, this one blows Stairway out of the water... Don't know why Stairway is always at the top of best solo lists when things like this exist from the same player.

this isnt the afinity series, this is an old beatup squier guitar from the 80's. i just put a really nice pickup in the bridge. if you buy a tele you wont regret it

actually he only used the tele for the first two albums... after that he started using his customized les paul... he could cut the coils on it and make it sound exactly like a telecaster... he really is a genious with a guitar...

I like the way you picked up on the stumbling feel of the timing in the first few bars, that's one of the thing that really makes this solo work so well with the song. Starting awkwardly but building up to unstoppable momentum is pretty much the theme of the song

his sloppy style gives the feeling of rock while live, I say! I mean he improvises to cover up a mistake, example like he repeats it twice as if he meant it... Like at TSRTS, right before Black Dog, he played a part of Bring it on Home and he did a mistake, but he did it again and that mistake would be easy to fix it the 2nd time, so he does it impurpose... And yes indeed, it sounds amazing!
