@RaySeekford In Isaiah 7v14 it says he shall be called Emmanuel, which means "God with us". Jesus is given many names in the New Testament (and Old) which describe him. Another example is the Lion of Judah, or Alpha and Omega. People don't go about calling him Lion of Judah or Alpha and Omega or Immanuel, but these are names still given to him because of their meaning.

@RSMJ15 friend in Christ, the name Jesus is a translation of the Greek translation of Yashua. The name is the same name though we may have a venacular difference country to country. The Savior Yashua in English is Jesus. One and the same.
