  • That looks like one awesome place to watch trains.

Stupid woman! I wonder how many more times she's going to try that before she gets hit.

  • It doesn't matter if the train wasn't close to hitting it or not, If the crossing activates, lights are on, and gates are down, going through or around a crossing is ILLEGAL. It is ILLEGAL. It is ILLEGAL. Do we finally get it? If a cop catches you running a crossing, that's a hefty fine.

  • nice catch!!

  • Interessting cross way!

  • Probably in a hurry to get to her "dumbass bimbo" meeting.

  • I love Griffith, Indiana. My grandma and uncle live there. Many great memories of that place. Not old enuff to remember Chessie System, New York Central, Erie, and others, but I sure do miss the days when the Grand Trunk Western and EJ&E would regularly go through that town. Great memories.

  • Interesting location!

Idiot clears track at :34 Train arrives at :43.

But what if a fast passenger train hidden behind the freight?

Why do the train's tracks look higher than the others crossing them?

  • they must of change the bell settings, cuz the bells only go off now when the gates are going down and back up, they dont stay sounding like it did in this vid

  • Where is this? Im very impressed with the diamond.

  • does the EJ&E still exist?

  • nevermind, I found out.

  • Nice power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i thought all the track was torn up through griiffith including the EL

  • The El & C&O are gone but the old GTW & EJE still remain.

  • EJE is now CN. Gone with the wind.

  • So is the NYC Joliet Branch, which paralleled the J from Joliet. The J branch to Porter is also gone. Some of the diamonds were actually IN Broad Street! The street itself is still busy. I remember a few years back I was railfanning the junction, and it took nearly 20 minutes to cross!

  • @trainman1995 No, not at all. In fact. a new CN connection is in place!

  • that train was no where near her car.

  • still preety close...this is not ypur average croosing...it's about 55 yards from gate to gate....

  • @Trainmasterryan THANK YOUUU!

  • @Trainmasterryan That makes it perfectly fine to drive around gates. lol... Have fun...

  • Where's that woman who "almost got hit"? He was honking at YOU!

  • She was in the silver Buick dude. He was honking at her!

  • Good Riddens!! The City needs to have extra police officers in this part of the area, If they see drivers cross the tracks when the gates are fully down, pull em over.

    Nice on that ACe.

  • if they had one there which they do we would get a ticket for railfanning

  • Hey primaeinfach, what are the ringing bells on the RR crossing called?(Please, Please Reply).
