  • has anyone ever heard of jaswell drilling rigs? they used to be manufactured in rhode island

  • Chuck Norris would have made it the first time.

  • How many transfer cases you go through in that thing so far. versa junk! CANT DRIVE CASING WORTH A S**T NEITHER, I've had to clean up after a couple of these $480,000 TERDS before! WITH MY OLD 72 TH60/36 CYCLONE.

  • Ive jacked the rig up and threw cardboard from out of a new construction site dumpster that siding came in and it walked right out of the sand with the carboard under the duals. Ive been drilling for almost 11 years doing replacements, new construction, and commercial jobs. Sometimes you're just fucked, but you gotta try everything you got to work with before you break shit or call for help.

  • How do you like the VersaDrill? we are contemplating a V2000,(actually spoke to Mr. Laibe one day, a very nice man) I have heard that they are the cat's pyjamas. We will sometimes use thick sheets of plywood when we are on a snowy-muddy-icy slope.

  • Hey etsavage26 is that snow or sand?

  • sugar sand

  • dumb ass needs to learn how to drive a rig I'm surprised he didn't snap a u joint on the old versadrill

  • so what would you have done differently? cause you cannot walk it up the grade ??? just curious. I should have got a running start to begin with alot less room then it looks and a hell of a lot steeper then you think it is..

  • Loose material with rigs that wgh in excess of 50k lbs = bad news. With little to no room, you almost had to get partially up the rise so you could back straight down to the house and attempt a good, clean run at the slope.

I assume the well was behind the rig with limited room to maneuver. Cutting the surface casing and backing over it is an option, but only if there's room behind the well to get a good running start.

Even with all-wheel drive the sand+slope was tricky, which is apparent.

  • you aint kidding no room the lot is 1/8 acre and we set pumps and tansk before leaving the site so yeah no room this was a bad setup to star and at the time we -were putting 2-3 deep wells a day gotta hump to make that green cant call the boss and say the rigs stuck call a tow right.,

  • from my point of view there's nothing bad what the guy has done with the truck...he got stuck..so he had to get out...and he didnt stepped on the gas too much either:)

  • if ya listen to the rpm i let off asap the truck is a 10 speed eaton fuller and full locking front and rear truck sucked in sand needs momentum the only thing i could have done diff is get a running start but the well wasright behind me so i needed to get over first. we have a peterbilt versadrill now automatic and it kills in the sand i think the switch to bridgstone from goodyear tires helped ILOVE DRILLING people need to be more positive about others situations and look at themselves more

  • @etsavage26 it's just you tube.. everybody wants to sound like a badass cause they're sitting behind their computer and not in front of your face.. you did good getting off the gas asap and not shaking your rig to death. my dad and i run a water well business here in northeast louisiana.. can't really imagine doing much else

  • thats right. Gas on it!!nice rig.
