  • thank you mary! xoxo i've subscribed to your channel! :-)

  • OMG, I couldn't watch more than 2 minutes of that video about how we treat animals!! I have tried to be a vegetarian several times, but my body really craves meat. It's really a struggle........even if you find stuff that's been able to roam (free range), it still has to be slaughtered.

I've heard that kosher is a kinder slaughtering, but I need to investigate.

  • hey bunz11, the film was horrific, wasn't it? it saddened me deeply. i think that if you instead buy organic meat, at least the animals are killed and treated in a more "human" way.

i am grateful that you care and that you are willing to investigate other options. thank you. xo

  • Hello sweety, I´m glad you are back, thanks for your new video it´s really nice, I will try this transfer thing, thank you for the tip. Edgar´s Cd´s are my favorites! His voice takes you through his knowledge! Is really special,I recomend them too, besides the book that is amazing!!

  • ooooh, yes! his audio is brilliant too (i've watched him on dvd before i read his book and LOVED it/him!). thanks for watching the vid and being here monica! xoxo

  • I love your shading on the girls face...is it hard to learn shading?

This piece you made is gorgeous!

  • thank you Sarah! well, to me, shading is all about attention to detail and putting shades where you initially didn't think you needed any, hee! it adds a lot of depth to your piece and makes it 3dimensional. it's not hard to learn but you need attention to detail. i might do a 'how to' vid about that soon! :-)

  • omg I really hope you do!! :)

  • beautiful artwork! hello Andy... :-)

  • thanks ccbell. andy says hi back!! :)

  • Thanks for acrylic tranfer technique. I can't wait to try that.

I loved the finished product! Welcome to the USA.

  • hi FaeryComeDraw! we had a super time in the US, i loved it there. :) and thanks for watching, hope your acrylic transfering goes well! 8-)

  • yeah i am so exited you came back i love your videos im so happy to learn all i CAN I KNOW NOT MUCH ABOUT YOU BUT AM HAPPY TO KNOW YOU AND YOUR BEAUTIFUL ART IM THE ONLY ONE LEFT IS SEEMS WHOS EATS meat i may need to learn that i have lots to gain if i lose wiegh. vegan not so sure . but yeah for you i have no will power with food or art supplies ha ha

  • HI! I still eat meat (BIG GRIN)! I have no will power with art supplies. That's not a bad thing, I suppose. I love my crayons!

  • (part1) hi gina! thanks for watching and i feel really honoured & happy that you feel you can learn from me! :-)

about eating meat: i didn't mean to post this vid to 'make other people who do eat meat feel guilty'! i hope you didn't see it that way. i feel everyone is, of course, entitled to eat what they want to eat. (ctd)

  • (part2)for myself, however, i've just wanted to make more conscious decisions about what to buy and where what i buy comes from. :)

it certainly isn't easy to change one's eating habits! :)

  • :)! The Power of Now is such a great book. It gives me hope to see more people caring about what is being done to the planet and its creatures. Love your videos, glad you're back!

  • thanks JustBreathe! it gives me tremendous hope too, to know that i'm not the only one who cares! hugs. xo

  • so glad to see another vid! :D

  • Great video Tam and terrific work of art! Thanks.

  • thanks bunz11!! :-) xo

  • Very beautiful Tam.

Thanks for sharing your technique on video.

I found it to be a therapeutic experience - especially the sketch of the girl with the butterfly.

    Enjoy your vacation!

  • :-) many thanks for watching. it soothes me to know the vid had a therapeutic effect on you. big hugs. xo

  • I HAVE to try the transfer idea! thanks!

When I lived in Hawaii I was able to swim with pods of Dolphins! It's truly magical! Hawaii is such a spiritual place I think you'd enjoy it!

    Thank you for your videos:)

  • oh sherri, i wish i could've gone to hawaii! it sounds like an amazing place! and yes, oh yes, the dolphins! i love seeing them in their own natural environment, free and unharmed, they are so precious! xoxo :) thanks for watching.

  • Well, that's a technique I didn't know HOW to do: the acrylic medium transfer. I will have to try that. And will look if I can find that book you recommended. Great video!

  • thanks MissSofy! the transfers can give a really additional interest effect to any piece of art! particularly if you like collaging and messiness. hee. the book, ooooh, you GOTTA read it! :)

  • Very pretty. Thanks for sharing it.

  • thank you amillionfaces! xoxo

  • Tam, What can I say....that's beautiful. Dolphins are the most incredible creatures of the earth. Loved this video. Love your art.

  • Welcome back! This is a beautiful mixed media piece. Thanks for the tips on the gel. I've used it to make some transfers but never thought about just using it for texture without trying to capture the exact image. Very cool. I got water soluble oil pastels for Christmas and love, love, love them.

So glad you're back to making videos. I missed you, your philosophy and your art.

  • thanks so much for your comment, reading it made me very happy as it makes me feel connected! :) oooh yay you got the pastels, aren't they special, and 'weird' (i never thought oil or waxed based materials could be water soluble!). anyhoo, thanks again! much! xo
