This song is called 'I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing' and was recorded by the New Seekers in 1972. I believe Coca Cola own it now and wouldn't allow oasis to use the part 'you can't beat the real thing' (as they used it in their ads).Nowaysis are just a tribute band and recorded this track in a tongue in cheek way

Not many people realise that this performance was an intentional joke. The song entitled 'i'd liek to teach the world to sing' was the inspiration behind the oasis song 'shakermaker'. I wish there were more performances from this band on YouTube. I've only found two TOTP shows and they're both of this song. Nowaysis would be a kick-ass Oasis tribute band; they could pull off the songs perfectly. I haven't heard one Oasis tribute band yet that does the songs (any song) well. The singer looks, acts, and sings just like Liam. Two thumbs way up!!!
