  • I loved that song, it was nice!

  • OMG! This is so kind and happy. At the end. And thats Jo Jo in the window! =)

  • I went to Narbonne High School in Harbor City with Joe Pureta. Even ran on the same track team with him. After all of these years, nothing about Joe has changed. He was a class act then, and he is a class now.

  • Holy crap, small world! I went to Narbonne too! class of 77 Major crush on David .... I know I am younger, but what class did you two graduate?

  • Joe was Class of 1969.

  • Thank you for sending me this link, Joe! God has certainly blessed you with a talent to compose and sing for everyone's enjoyment. - Frank

  • Great Song and Great Voice. I have passed this video to many friends and family. I can't get this song out of my head, it is awesome. This song will be big Joe.

    Congratulations!!

  • I'm Comin' Home For Christmas is being featured this Thursday December 7th on a special Christmas themed episode of ER called City of Mercy. Please tune in and listen for the song. It is supposedly going to get 1 full minute of airtime. If you don't plan to be home, don't forget to set those TVO's and VCR's.

    Congratulations, Joe!!!

  • I have known Joe Puerta since his early days with Ambrosia (1975. In Ambrosia it seemed that David Pack received the most attention for being the "singer". I have always felt that Joe received a raw deal in those regards and felt that he is the stronger voice. Great song and video, as a twotour Vietnam Vet this video really pulled the heart strings and my thoughts go out to all those in the Military who are not home for the Holidays. Good job Joe. Pat Newman

  • Thanks for your service, no one understands the song/video like you.

  • GREAT

  • Thanks, Joe, now I can't get "I'm Comin' Home For Christmas" out of my head, just like "Hopes and Dreams". Seriously, props to all involved in the project, it's so beautiful!-Bob in CA

  • Strike the "pedophile" joke I made re:Kindgreens69-they are friends of the videographers and it's their own inside joke. Appypollylogies, as Little Alex would say.

  • Joe Puerta strikes again, right on target. Beautiful heartfelt song, no commercialism or phoniness like so many Christmas ditties. Good work-how can I buy it?

  • you can buy online at itunes, walmart, rhapsody, music match

    thanks!!

  • I'm old fashioned. I'm computer illiterate. I hate asking my wife's neice to download stuff for me. Do they have cd's for sale at Walmart? Help! I must have this!-Stupid Bob in CA

  • no, unfortunatley. have to get online. call your neice!!

  • I will!

  • When your daughter is singing the song after watching this video just one time, you know it's gotta be a winner! Best of luck with the song and video!

  • Poignant and heartfelt, a great vid! Happy Holidays and bring 'em home.

    HB

  • Sweet and sad. Well done Joe!

  • Great song you wrote Bill Pfordresher ! Joe nails it ! Can't get the tune out of my head! Great work !

  • This song is so meaningful, and I can't get it out of my head! It totally puts me in the Christmas spirit. And the video images are chilling!

  • Gawd, I love it. Thanks Joe

    Tom

  • That was incredible - love the song, love the footage. Every American will appreciate this beautiful Christmas memorial to our troops.

  • As to the video, nice sentiment, w/just the proper dose of wistful charm & haunting ache w/o being too schmaltzy.

It'd be good if Dubya, fresh on the heels of putting the kibosh on Rummy would hear it, but methinks YT ain't on his Internets. Our brave troops won't get to see this yuletide stateside, & many won't see another ever again. But if the bicameral balance now works its magic, perhaps they'll ALL be home by Christmas, Chanukkah, Kwanzaa or Festivus, next year.

  • Joe, homes, this is serious sick! A Andrew Gold vibe w/sweet falsetto chorus notes. Joe Puerta, a principal singer-songwriter in Ambrosia (70s-80s pop-rock-prog), known for hits like "Holdin' on to Yesterday" & "Biggest Part of Me". Long outta rotation, they've performed since the early 90s. Having seen them tons, I CAN avow to their excellence in avoiding the dinosaur band effect (strained vox & sloppy play), sounding as good as they did straight outta their garages.

  • Awesome! Very powerful images and message. Thanks for a video well done.

  • The more I see and hear it, the more I love it....please pass it on!!!!

  • It's great to hear a NEW Christmas song! Joe's voice sounds fantastic! Nice work.

  • Love the song, very catchy. Beautiful video.

  • Beautiful video. Joe, your voice always touches my soul. This song especially with so many of our men and women so far from home. Happy Holidays and Peace to us all.

  • I've been a long time fan of Ambrosia and really think that Joe's voice is still in top form here.... great stuff!

  • Awesome video! Perfect theme too. Agree with JV. Let's think and create peace and bring our troops home...as they say, thoughts become things, so choose the good ones. Merry Christmas everyone.

  • Beautiful video. During this holiday season and in the future, I hope everyone the world over will realize how powerful thoughts are and think peace. If everyone would think peace, the result would be peace. Our boys would all be home for Christmas; sons would come home the world over. Thought has the power to transcend time so think peace and make it so in your own little corner of the world. Happy Holidays to all.

  • Great video! Love the song. Hope it becomes a well known Christmas song.

  • Love the video! Who's the little girl? She's gorgeous.

  • Awesome Video / Song ! Get Bush to watch this and get our boys home !!

  • Amazing. Why ruin a great song with your (uneducated) policital commentary? Yeah, let's forget about all of the progress and the lives that were sacrificed to gain what we have and just abandon it all. It is so easy to oversimplify everything and blame Bush or say we need peace and to bring out troops home. It is so much more involved than that.

  • Excuse me, um, gain what we have??? What are you on??? Unless you mean chaos, suffering, death, pain, corruption, war profiteering, the hatred of the world, cuz that is ALL we have gained and all we ever will. How 'bout YOU go put your life on the line for Bush's evil war. It ain't "more involved" than that - don't make it into something it isn't to justify your position - most people have wisened up by now so it's not going to work anymore. How does it feel to be in the minority?

  • Well done jaligua, well done!!! And I thought you were only good at splunking!! I shall pass this on to all.

  • Great Video! Very touching. Got me in the spirit early. Who's the young actress? Definite star potential!

  • Excellent video. Love the song. Made me cry. The little girl is beautiful.

    P.S.

How much for the little white girl?

  • What were you planning to do to her, pedophile?

  • as i explained to boberta who already struck this comment I a friends with the amazing video production people and it is a distasteful inside joke! Sorry if I offended anyone else...Happy Holiday Season and I hope we all can come home for christmas. Amazing song and video...

  • Again, just having fun with political correctness. Kindgreens69 does not need to apologize.

  • Excellent video. Love the song. Made me cry. The little girl is beautiful.

    P.S.

How much for the little white girl?

  • Love it. I hope that some of what is portrayed in this video will come true.
