  • @SurviveN2: We expect you to report back after the surgery! We need more of your vids. Best of Luck!

    Cheers,

    Michael

  • @RealMash Thanks for your well wishes and all Michael, but I don't need surgery, thank God, I've had enough of them already.....LOL. You might have me confused with RCvolunteer1978 who is going in for heart surgery, although I had been really sick for about a month, I'm finally getting over that.....Yipeeeee. :-)) I've got several videos on the books to do, now I've just got to find the time to do them. Still trying to get caught up on things...LOL. Take Care :-))

  • @SurviveN2 So...there are no more exuses for more, and even better videos?*G*

ANyway, all the best, you are right...got confused...will talk to the one in need ...

    Thanks,

    Cheers,

    Michael

  • the boy scouts had one like that back in the 1970s

  • @RCvolunteer1978 Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. I think I picked this thing up back in the 80's. It's a handy thing to have, I hope some of them still have them. Take Care :-))

  • @SurviveN2 I went looking for the staff that i had from the boy scouts can not find it most have been lost going thro Hurricane Andrew 1992 ... i been thinking of getting a new one ...since

  • @RCvolunteer1978 I hear ya on not finding it after Andrew....my other half was in Fl at that time and also went thru Andrew. There is a company that makes a staff similar to mine but IMO it's expensive, the name of the company is Crawford. I wish you luck in your quest to find another one. Take Care :-))

  • @SurviveN2 YES i NO Longer can efford the rent so i will make one from bamboo If my son allows me to pick up a power tool Iam in a wheelchair going for heart sugery

soon with less then 25% of me making it this time May the Good Lord be with you

  • @RCvolunteer1978 I'm sad to hear about your upcoming surgery. I hope everything works out for the best for ya, and may the good Lord be with you too. Take Care :-))

  • after looking at it real close i guess you can make one yourself in a weekend (gathering materials not included) seems like that would make a cool project.

  • @CannabisDelux Thanks for watching. If you do decide to make one you need to do a video and show the rest of us how you did it. Take Care :-))

  • Where did you get this staff and where can I purchase one?

The crawford one is ridiculously expensive for what you get.

  • @islandjack1 I don't think these are made any more. I bought mine back in the early ninety's. I've looked all over for them and I even contacted Crawford to see if it was one of their early models but they said that it wasn't. Crawford is asking quite a lot for their staff. I wish you luck in your quest at finding something at a fair price. I wish I could have helped you more. Take Care :-))

  • You could use fiberglass and resin

  • @EpicFork I'm not sure what your referring to, but thanks for watching. Take Care :-))

  • @SurviveN2 for the hook at the end u were taking about

  • @EpicFork OK, I understand now. Thanks for clearing that up. Yea, I guess you could. Take Care :-))

  • They are FAR too expensive these days to purchase. I normally use a cane to get around, I looked into getting one of these for hiking camping use, but it was well over my budget.

  • @weaponeer Thanks Gary for watching and commenting. I hear ya on being expensive, Crawford is really proud of theirs. Mine was not made by Crawford, I asked them. I bought it many many yrs ago when it was reasonable, glad I did now........LOL. Take Care :-))

  • that looks a quality item. There is one called the Crawford Knives Survival Staff that you can still buy although it seems more orientated towards self defence than bushcraft.

  • @deanznz Thanks for your kind comment. I have seen the Staff your talking about and agree with you about it being oriented to self-defense. Take Care :-))

  • Thanks for the comment. :-))

  • Great walking stick my friend, load of great survival items inside, very handy.
