awesome. Now this is an idea for hasbro and I'm surprised they havent done it yet, but make a power up prime with attaching jetfire armor. I voyager or leader with parts to fit on so it is more movie accurate. Your thoughts?

you know instead of using the jet panels for the four tower look, you can use the jet-tips. it'll take out the shoulder parts though

well it is nice to know I am creative enough to have done the combination like this already but I do literally one thing differently. I use jetffire's hands to grab onto optimus primes pipe staff thing connected to his door. I just thought his hads there looked a little off so I just had him grab onto them.

i just found a way to giv him t thrusters over his shoulders, ad then use the shoulder pads in this vid to make the 4 stacks peaugh has, it also gets rid of sum of the optimus backpack kyble, infact looking at it now i cnt see any of optimus pack back, it also wrapes the red wheel covers on optimus back around jetfire, so all in all i find it much much neither :D

but this rocks peaugh, ur feet really helped me make my ultimate power up :D

This is awesome. The feet configuration looks way better than the standard configuration, and the legs are actually poseable now - they can be parted for a more purposeful stance.

The only thing I do differently on mine is to lean the engines/wings in at an angle - this looks more movie-like and better IMHO.

Very cool - I will keep them combined for a while now.

Peaugh, Just something to think about, for the shoulder pads, just to add some stability to them and help hide the hands, I make Jetfire's hands grasp the canisters on optimus' Arms (The missile pod ones). I find this helps them stay in place better and jetfre's hands are less noticeable.

A good idea for this would be to make the legs more accuarte. And my theory is, if you take a model of an SR-71 thats to scale of Jetfire you can put the non-glued peices on primes legs for a more accurate look. Maybe even put the wings on the thrusters. Cause i saw a guy on Ebay make a power up prime without even using a jetfire figure. He sjut used what looked like SR-71 model pieces.

I must warn you though, even though by taking that voicebox off and ultimately "breaking" your Jetfire (there's a wire you have to cut, srry folks), your Powered Up Optimus WILL have fully posable legs, but extremely POOR balance. Unless you have every single piece of this guy perfect balanced, without that voicebox holding his thighs firmly in place, he does the splits and topples over, so only do this if you're willing to sacrifice ur Jetfire and turn him into just parts...like the film.

That feet idea just made my Optimus practically perfect, Thank you! OH, and i wanted to let everyone here know that I pretty much disabled my Jetfire's ability to transform because I loved how much prime had posability in his legs, but once he powered up, Jetfire's configuration crippled his legs! SO, I took that back part of Jetfire that hooks up beneath his crotch, it's basically the soundbox to Jetfire, I took that off with a screw driver and tried the merger again- IT WORKS!

oh and those tu-tu tires actually enhance the look this way. Hey peaugh you can use the wheel covers to help support the wings a little, it also gives the illusion of more integration. Open jetfires whiskers ads to the look from the front as well. Primes pipes laying down also gives more movement. There is a world of motion available for this thing in this mode in this configuration if you think outside the box. Also for flight mode I like to extend the canopy this way. WOO HOO!

Actually I thought that too but try it out! If anything it increases the range of motion because the feet arent locked in two different places. I currently have the thrusters pointed forward like cannons with prime in a dragon ball z like pose, hunched over with his arms and blades swung backand half kneeled. Getting the whole foot to push forward i think will be impossible such as in a kick pose but try it out! I am so impressed.
