This colourway has been released many times since 1987, other release dates were 1993 (leather), 1997 (red sole), 1999 (red bubble, red sole) 2001, 2002 and twice in 2005 (og mesh and HOA) and 2009.

you seem to know your stuff.. i have a pair of these and they seem completely real, but the date reads 08-05-02 and i cant find any info on a release of these in 2002?

couldn't agree more, i can't stand the bulky shape of retro air maxes/air jordans these days. in particular the front part of the toebox going straight up like a wall
