It's Criminal what the Australian Government has done taking these very important research Dog Teams from Antarctica and sending them to the U.S.A.
They have No Idea what they have done. These Dog Teams are a very important part of Australian History and now it is gone, the World is laughing at us...
I remember when Tom, Biff, Wendy, Jake and Elwood were born in the dinter of 1991! Grat film: thanks. And I remember JS arriving at Rothera. Whatever happened to him?
I do not get why they would ban dogs used for aiding researchers, in the lightest moving way possible. I mean sure they do not belong to Antarctic but those Inuit bred dogs can take almost any measure of cold.
Thanks. I was at Rothera in 84/5. Maybe some of these last were the pups born that winter. We had 3 teams then, I can't remember the name of the third team. Great days
