If we're talking strictly hip-hop than I would have to say Common, CYNE (for the most part), Nas (SOMETIMES, I can't stress that enough) and so on. I don't know, as far as hip-hop goe sthere aren't too many emcees who stay consistently posotive. The only one I can think of right now is Common. Although I think even he may have been a little thugish in his earlier days.
