I bought the Fusion 600w the other day. As soon I as I switched it on. The fuse blew and I could smell burning from the fan.

i bought a tekin rx8+t8 2050kv and burned it within a week, got them replaced under warranty and today i burned them both out again!

i have found all RC equipment to be like this, it either lasts for ages or burns shortly after purchase:

Having said that, i will still reccomend the Fusion Emperor, because there has been a genuine attempt by the manufacturer to build a quality charger, thats my honest opinion:

ps, i trust you have returned it for a warranty replacement?

the fuse is an easy fix, but the fan burning up is defo a warranty job!

Hey 1521joe , I have a a big question 4 you :-)) I'm thinking about getting into the Ofna Ultra GTP 2e kit and I'm thinking of using the Tekin 2250 Kv with the RX8 ESC but what about the servo , spur gear and pinion gear and if anything else I'm missing . HELP ME PLEASE!!!

1) Use the stock spur gear wich comes with the kit and start with a 16t pinion

2) use a Savox high torque servo $59.

get the 2200kv castle motor and use 5-6 cells lipo ;)

some nice gearing and you can't handle the beast :p

yep, and its cheap at just $209 dollars, there are vids on youtube with the gtp at very high speeds.

check out Amain hobbies, get a car and motor from them, or try ebay, there are many retailers who sell on the bay for extra cheap.

That's the same car I was looking at but I thought it would b 2 much 2 convert it , not as far as money but just knowing the steps 2 finish the project . If u can 1521joe let me know what I would need and also do I need a conversion kit or can I go around that

there is a "E" version of the gtp, its $209 dollars, no conversion kit is required, you simply bolt the motor&esc in along with a steering servo and your good to go.

Alternitavly, you could try the Hpi Vorza, its based on the De8, its a RTR and comes with the mamba monster motor and esc, all pre installed

looks good those 2 5cells but your talking about what i could do 600 watt total 300watt per port but your just charging them with 1C :p and those lipo's can have 5C=25amps

for your battery's.

But 300 Watt : 18.5 volt = 16.2 amps for those lipo's.

my charger is only 180watt per port = 180 Watt : 18.5 volt =9.7 amps = about 2C

i always charge my lipo's on 2C

yes your correct. i charge these lipos for 5 cycles @ 1c

im very gentle with them for 5 cycles, but they can actualy charge at 10c

when i take this video, these battery only have just 1 cycle, so they were very new, hence the reason i was so gentle, also i only charge now to 4.15 and discharge to 3.5, this gives very long life.

try the 1:8 ofna gtp

fit the mamba or any other quality motor/esc 2200kv and run 6s with a 21t pinion

i doubt anyone will come close, your looking at 100mph with that set-up.

the gtp will cost very little and the MMM COMBO is cheap on ebay
