  • Hockey fights are great. But, man, did Probie put a beating on his brain! He abused his brain more than his opponents!

  • Great scrap. Both tough guys. RIP Probie.

  • Have to hand it to Domi in the fight towards the end, he's tough as shit. Takes a beating and just keeps going.

  • When Domi says he's stupid....just give him a cigar!

  • a couple essex county boys , scrapping it out, love it!

  • back when being tough was respected. pussy ass era we live in now.

  • @kingoftheroad554 but women these days don't like fighting...they'll leave you if you try to defend them etc etc...we're a generation raised by women

  • @rvz77 yeah its bullshit eh

  • @rvz77 We've evolved and have become more civilized. The mother plays the more important role in raising a child. She's the nurturer.

  • LOL I still remembered both of these fights. They were burnt into my brain.

  • Probie will always be the MAN! God rest his soul!... Domi a tough guy too! Tie goes to Probies funeral and he is a class guy!... You guys were the best!

  • Probie will always be the MAN! God rest his soul!... Domi a tough guy too!

  • Scrogy is no bully, Bosox is barely a bully but Khav seems to be a bully, and Huntercalgary and Bbtmge who is very nasty guy IMO(also one Finnihs guy not me lol KoivuTheHab is irritating person because jumping to peoples behind his computer screen like a coward).

  • rroft domi ka gjakun e shqiptarit . ja qifsha nenen ati rropqir messier domi tja kish thy turinjt ne moment ! domi eshte mbret king tie domi

  • @ilindurshqiptar Pardon?

  • Tie Domi was great on the Leafs. He would drop the mitts with anyone and could contribute on the scoreboard more than most enforcers. I used to call him the paint drinker because he was so insane and appeared out of his mind! Taking on guys that almost looked to be twice his size yet he at worst always hung in there and oftentimes kicked their ass. Domi = heart. No doubt about it.

  • @SuperStrik9 True, he's was one of the best fighters and he has tons of hart but when he got to the Leafs, people treadted him as a God. And because of that he bacame a bit of an ass in person but besides that I respect him quite a bit.

  • take off your helmet when you fight

  • Domi was an idiot for putting his head down. Probie will always be the best. RIP Probie

  • The second Domi lost his helmet, he was looking for the nearest linesman to hide behind. As always.

  • it was clear that tie put the gloves down first...

  • when i watch this all i have to say is god bless HOCKEY!!

  • R.I.P The toughest guy to ever play in the NHL.

  • @jwm182 Domi died?

  • 3:48 - A lot of players today need to listen to that. Caps, Pens, Sharks in particular.

  • domi the beast

  • @theroc5851 Domi fought guys his own weight, plus or minus 15 lbs for the vast majority of his career. Orr & Thorny regularly give up 25+ lbs, & while the league isn't nearly as tough as it used to be, the enforcers are bigger & better trained then they were back then.

You have to judge a player for the era they played in, so I would agree that Domi was more dominant than Orr or Thornton. However Domi couldn't handle today's top heavyweights. Boogey(RIP) Scott MacIntyre & Chara would KILL Tie.

  • @BoSoxnation1972 Tie Domi threw Donald Brashier around like a rag doll and Brashier is like 6'7"

  • @bigmoney749 What? Brashear is only 6'3, nowhere near 6'7 you moron. And they fought a ton. Their first tilt happened September 23rd 1995 in a preseason game, and Brashesr TKO' Domi. It was the first time Domi got TKO'd in his pro or minor league career.

Donald was 5-3 against Tie in their 8 fights.

  • if domi had been 5 inches taller hed have been 6ft, but hed have lost balance, he had a really low centre of gravity, and the reason he won a lot of fights was that he could skate better than the 2 minute a game zombies he often fought.

the list of fighters who have scored 100 goals, and been trusted with 10+ minutes regularly in playoff games is pretty small!

not players who could fight a bit......fighters who could play a bit!!

  • @stonersid he lost more fights than he won actually

  • @varsume did he? i rarely remember seeing him rocked, of course hes lost some, hes fought all the bad boys back in a time where refs let it go!

but i really doubt he lost anywhere as near as many as he won!

  • I wish Mess would write a book about leadership, it would be 100 times better than all the ones written by these CEOs that think they're god's gift to the world.

  • MONUMENTAL! Two titans going at it!

  • 2 clear wins probert but still

  • irp for the best fighters probert and derek boogaard¡¡ firm spain its a horrible¡¡ I R P

  • nice shirt moose

  • Domi is such a dickhead but man was it fun watching him fight.

  • That was an enjoyable and enlightening video segment.

  • I never knew Messier gave him that talk, I'm glad he did. Tie was really a clown at times. He wasn't even a bad player. He could skate, he could hit, was good for 10-15 goals a year and was a good fighter. I'm glad Messier told him to quit being a jerk off.

  • Great Clip....thx to the contributor !!

  • TIE DOMI ALBANIAN PRIDE

  • This is my kind of hockey, back when you didn't have to hate a guy or be really pissed at him to start a fight with him. I play juniors and during tryouts sometimes two little guys will go at it for the fuck of it just to prove to the coaches that they're tough enough, but it's hard for a big guy like me to find a "pick-up" fight.

  • It's funny how all these niggers think basketball players are tough. I just watched a video of the top ten NBA fights of all time and I didn't see a single clean punch landed. Pussy shit. All you hoop-shootin' jungle bunnies, take notes.

  • @bigmoney749 Well i agree wiht ya that hockey is a fuck lot tougher then the NBA and always will be but let's not get race into this. Ray Emery was a great fighter, good goalie, and he was black.

  • @bigmoney749 lol, jungle bunnies

  • As a "hockey mom", I'm not afraid to admit, yes, I do like a hockey fight, ONLY when it defends Honour! Ex: goalie gets snowed, or worse.... I don't like fighting, normally. My son would go to the DEPTHS, for his goalie. That's a traight I DO admire about him! Every goalie my son ever played with, LOVES him! They knew, if he was on the ice, NO one will "get " at them!!

  • @ralphyization Hockey Moms are hot!!

  • @witemite79 You said it, brother! ha ha!

  • Domi is a pussy

  • @spectorman09 hahaha one of the dubest things i've heard. he's full of him self, jerk-off in person, but a pussy he is not.

  • probert is hands down the best fighter in nhl history but wow domi has som balls fighting guys so much bigger than him

  • @998uzi fighting is about weight, not height. Domi was the same weight as Baumgartner & many other top tier fighters. I'm far more impressed qwith guys like Stan Jonathan, George McPhee, & Danny Gare, who regularly gave up 30 plus pounds...& 30lbs is a much higher percentage of body weight for a 170 lb guy than it qwould be for today's 235lbers!

  • @BoSoxnation1972 you are partly right but look at top10 now a days enforcers all over 6"3....

  • @khav11 No they aren't all over 6'3, but guys that are 6'1 & 6'2 are like guys that were 5'10 twenty years ago-but heights have gone up acroass the board. Fighters heights have gone up the same proportion as goalies, & regular forward's & defenaseman's heights!

The average height of an NHL player in 1990 was about 6 feet tall. Today, it's about 6'2.

Colton Orr, Deryk Engelland, & Shawn Thornton are all under 6'3.

  • @BoSoxnation1972 orr is 6"3 thorton about 6"2 but look at scott boogaard( hes dead but whatever) mac ivanans shelley godard

  • @khav11 You said "all top10 enforcers now a days are all over 6"3" Neither Orr, nor Thornton, or even Deryk Engelland is over 6'3. And while Thornton is sometimes mistakenly listed at 6'2, he's listed at 6'1 217 in the Bruins media guide & acknowledges jokingly that he's "6'2 on skates, not flatfooted."

You also are missing the point. Everyone you named over 6'3 outweighs Thornton and Orr significantly. Boxing & MMA seperate divisions by WEIGHT, not height! That's the fucking point!

  • @BoSoxnation1972 engelland and thorton are not top10 sorry to burst your bubbbles shelley and godard are 220 pounds ivanans 240 and he did cycle of steroids back in his habs days 2005. but what are we arguing for when you are tall you are heavy case closed

  • @BoSoxnation1972 colton orr is 6"2 1/2 i call that tall in real life... men are 5"11 usa/can stats

  • @BoSoxnation1972 thorton is not that good he got rocked by shelley 2 times last year and also engelland is not a top10....lmao and orr is 6"3 thx.... btw rupp is 6"5 and bitchslapped thorts

  • @khav11 Shelley was rated as a top 5 fighter by other NHL enforcers in the Sports Illistrated April 2010 issue, so a loss to him is no bog deal.

Thornton was rated as a top 10 fighter by other NHL enforcers, so your opinion is irrelevent to me.But someone who was top 5 two years ago, like Orr, may not even be top 10 anymore. If I used your stupid logic, Orr isn't even top 10. He lost badly TWICE to Engelland, so your logic says Orr sucks. I think your logic is severely flawed. LMAO

  • @BoSoxnation1972 what logic? youre a bostonite fan of cours eyoure gonna back up thortons hes a good punching bag gonna give him that! brashear wiped the floor with him also hows bs doing lately? is huntercalgary well? LMFAO my fucking point is theyre all (the heavyweights) watch the top3 wilson 6foot3 brown 6foot5 probert 6foot3 and they played when people were a lot shorter in the 80s... thats my point you stupid yankee

  • @khav11 actually here is a truth and it is here(sorry you are wrong and other too IMO) ; 1.Probert 2.Brown 3.Brashear 4.Wilson 5.Kocur 6.Twist 7.McSorley 8.McCarthy 9.Laraque 10.C.Gillies .... i have more friendly style and not m-bully style. I am usually right because i am more an expert about things like a hockey(sport) and music, those are my best area, adding maybe politic too. I have read my book. Theres no big matter what is your style to fight but the results speaks a truth,

  • @khav11 I know here is another, other Expert and he is Scrogy. He knows his shit. PERIOD. But its pretty ridiculour when you many guys are hassling with each others like 10 years old school boys, its all stupid and wrong because of mental bully style but i think you some are bullies and starts everything with other guys but also other guys reactions for you are wrong because i wouldnt wanna waste my time with you.

  • @BoSoxnation1972 and most tough guys are around 220s not that heavy too!

  • Great YT vid and interviews....I'm a Wings fan so Probie's my man...but I gotta say Domi grows on ya....he is cool too...I miss the old NHL code of justice....you showboat or cheapshot somebody back then....a price was paid.

  • He said its "Im so stupid" 7:39 Your still the man Domi. Good look being an enforcer on two original 6 teams!

  • domi sux cox w messier 2 fgts

  • domi sux cox

  • How did Mess ever get respect in the league wearing a shirt like that?

  • @meavid After Six cups, you can wear anything you want!

  • @meavid ..Mess doesn't hang out at the fag bar ...Like you...

  • @drdave313 Right. Like me, Mess has not been seen at the gay bar you are referring to.

  • @meavid looks like the pattern from the old Coyotes jerseys

  • @meavid Actually I kinda like that shirt.

  • @meavid F'ing hilarious!

  • @meavid I think if your mark Messier...you can wear whatever shirt you want.

  • Messier: You smarten up or I will unleash the Moose Elbo on you.

  • @bennyvega100 5 foot nothin, fighting a guy 6 foot 4, and your calling Domi a pussy.....you are a complete waste of sperm. You have never fought in your entire life. And if you have, your a fucking disgrace. There are no cowards in the NHL. Keep sucking cock faggot.

  • @SuperThunderlips

Fuck off you freak. Domi is a fucking showboating little bitch, so get your head out of his ass, loser.

  • @bennyvega100 Impale yourself on an iron gate jerkoff........I wish we were face to face in a bar somewhere. You are probably the biggest toolbox in the world. You have no balls. You have obviously never faced-off with anybody. Get lost .......

  • @SuperThunderlips

yeah, whatever Mr. Anger Management. You're telling me to get lost? You replied to my comment first you stupid fuck. Go do something useful to the world like blowing your head off with a shotgun you pathetic moron. The fact that angry retards like you even exist is atrocious. Byebye shithead.

  • @bennyvega100 You contradicted yourself. Your not too intelligent are you........bye pussy.

  • @SuperThunderlips

What are you talking about? Contradicted myself? If there's a pussy here it's you. You're telling me to get lost when you're the one who started this bullshit.

I'm Intelligent enough to know that you're a presumptuous, arrogant asshole who is obsessed with whether or not I've been in a fight. You don't even know me and you just assume I've never fought someone. Get a life you worthless thug.

    Conversation over.

  • @bennyvega100 LOL...looks like I struck a nerve.

  • Domi's such a frigging beauty

    Love him

But his better days was as a leaf

  • Two great guys . Miss ya Bob.

  • this clip doesn't show it because it ends to soon, but the captain of the redwings started doing the same WWF belt thing after the second fight between domi and probert

  • and we call ourselves civilized?...notice how the refs sit back and watch the fighting...an example of primitive behavior being cultivated...encouraged...celebrated...this man is now dead by the way...at age 45...

  • 20 games for fighting?!

Why do people ever talk shit about Bettman?

  • @cronin098 ahem...the expensive, non-profiting southern states expansion...

  • @tattlerat Really? Moving the Stars to Dallas was a bad investment? Tampa Bay hasn't had any success? Sure the Panthers aren't the best, but they're still apparently making enough to remain a team. And it's not like he isn't open to moving the Coyotes.

  • @cronin098 siiigh, no one gives a rats ass about hockey in the southern states, simply put the revenue from toronto and montreal and the rest of the original 6 are paying to keep them afloat. Bettman wont admit he was wrong and so on and teams like the coyotes just go further in debt instead of just moving the team up north so that it will actually make some cash. It doesnt matter if a team does well, if no one is watching then there not going to make any money.

  • @tattlerat Do you know anything about the numbers down there? I mean, I kind of find it hard to believe considering the players in the south are making millions just like the players in the north. It's not like the Leafs are forced to send $500 million to Florida every year.

  • @cronin098 the players have signed legal contracts, there going to get paid regardless. the teams are not making revenue and no one cares about the teams. The preds are the only pro sports team in nashville and people still dont give a shit. move the teams up north and we wouldnt have issues like were havin with the coyotes. but im done debating this with you, if u want to think that the sunbelt expansion was a good idea go ahead, i wont stop you.

  • @tattlerat

Tennessee Titans are in Nashville. You don't have any credibility.

  • Huge Red Wings fan but I think Domi was great. He was a cocky punk at first, but at least he could take hits, and he grew up and quit the nonsense after a while which is why I like him now. RIP Probert, you're the champ.

  • Classic Domi in the first Probert fight. Probert kicks his butt. Domi starts asking the officials to break it up the moment his helmet comes off. And then then they're separated, Domi struts around pantomiming the championship belt, like anyone thinks he won that fight. Moron.

  • The irony, they're both from the same part of southwestern Ontario. BUT, it's interesting to hear their 'take' on it all.

  • There weren't many people that I hated more than Domi but much respect! He deserves it!

Although, I'm really happy Probert kicked his ass.

    Good video.

  • Best Fights in the NHL

  • hey SuperFAGGOT... this is about hockey fights not about vocabulary. Only a gutless homo faggot like yourself would worry about vocabulary. "You can't imagine a woman who wouldn't want a piece of your dumb childish ass"???? LOL!!!!

hey pekkerhead... stop watching soaps all day... you drama queen...you....LOL!!!!

  • @classicNHLfights I only watch nhl fighting because I fuck ass

  • I just met this guy a couple days ago in Toronto. Funny guy!

  • better than a ufc promo

  • Probert OWNS Domi

  • I saw Domi in the Calgary airport when he was with the jets. He was cracking jokes with Selanne. It was fucking incredible how wide he was. Brick shit house.

  • nhl biggest goon ever

  • bob probert sucks ass

  • I don't care what anyone says --- Domi has balls the size of grapefruits to fight Probert (who was an absolute monster)

  • Thats when hockey was fun to watch. You had rivalries like Montreal vs Boston,Det.vs Tor,Chic,vs St.L,Edm.vs Cal,Mont.vs Quebec,Isles vs Rangers.Miller vs Kordic,Hunter vs Semenko,Ewen vs Van Dorp,Probert vs Mcgill,Miller vs Donnelly,Miller vs Maguire or Hartman,Neely vs Ulf the fag.

  • @bigbadbruins1

    eh!!! Go Bruins Go!

    Neely is God!

  • haha messier's like a fuckin guru

  • @muf318 cant do much against a coked up goon......domi is the man

  • I remember the Detroit Free Press ran a tale of the tape section before the game, you knew these two would go....being a Wings fan I think Probert got the belt back ; )

  • Probert and Domi was a greaty match up lol Saw both Domi and Probert interview on the hour! those two interview together was funny as hell! R.I.P Bob Probert

  • I hate Tie Domi and loved Bobbie Probert... I'm a diehard Hawks fan. That said, I could never stand Mark Messier... but this interview totally changed my opinion of him. Mess is alright with me.

  • NO HE DIDNT!!!!GOT UR ASS KICKE DOMI!!!

  • NO HE DIDNT!!!!

  • Domi had a skull like cement.

  • PK Subban anyone???

  • @zonkedforlife2 domi is 10x tougher than subban

  • @khav11 tht is generous id say atleast a 100x

  • @28steve13 agreed

  • @khav11 You can't compare Domi and Subban, Tie's shits are tougher than P.K

  • @666DCP420 i know... some one said they were alike i was shocked domi might be top10 and

  • Messier did the right thing, he was a team leader straightening out a young player.

  • Adda boy Probert!

  • Fuck you Bettman for ruining blue color hockey and turning the NHL into a wannabe European league. Bettman should be fuckin deported.

  • RIP Probert

  • its crazy how much thinner and smaller the pads were back then. different times, different game pretty much

  • Both guys are really tough. Domi is more of a reflex fighter, more punches thrown, lots of energy. Probert is a late fighter, corks back and unleashes. His punches look a lot harder, easier to avoid but if they connect, absolutely lethal.

  • @12321managementman well said.

  • Geesh. Domi 5-10, 205; Probert 6-3, 230 Both scary tough

  • Comment removed

  • Domi showed up at probie's funeral...Classy move. Regardless of the rivalry on the ice, they respected each other.

  • @Savafan313 They sent eachother christmas cards. FACT

  • @Savafan313

Domi was classy off the ice. But rarely on it.

  • @meanwiddlekid He visited a little girl who, my friends daughter. He spent time with her in her room, talked to the parents. He is a good man, regardless of how he acts on the ice.

  • r i p probert and hockey like this.......

  • @therealCanablisS this is why hockey was awesome, looking @ all the cheap shot's & dirty shit that goes on now? I miss these days, players have no respect, it's not beaten into them like it should be.

  • 0:4 Love the Healthcare sign on the board while they go at it!

  • 1:26 what a nice sweater

  • He got his ass kicked on this one....Domi did...!

  • man domi is albanian! Witch gives him all the HEART to never give up and keep on going!!

  • @thesoftish it also makes him an ugly piece of shit

  • @thesoftish damn right if their were no refs probert would of died of exhaustion trying to ko domi

  • Nice shirt Messier!!

    XD haha

  • RIP PROBERT!

  • Mess was the man...Domi was FEARLESS punk!

  • most famous fights ever......Gordie/Loie 59 and Probert and Domi 92

  • @machivellisucs You might want to add Jonathan and Bouchard for a single one sided fight.

  • Think about this. Domi showboated on PROBERT. Only one thing I didn't like about Domi- at times a bit too much showboating (in particular early in his career). Still a heck of a player & tough as nails.

  • As a Sens fan, when I started paying attention to hockey, I naturally hated Domi. But when I saw that he had huge respect for Probert (plus attending his funeral) and the other guys he's fought, coupled with the fact that he one-punched that scumbag Ulf Samuelsson, I've started to actually like Domi.

RIP Bob Probert 1965-2010 and hats off to you, Domi!

  • proberts roots to the D are much deeper than chicago, domi when you talk that much shit you better be ready

  • Good ol' days. :(

  • You have to give Domi credit for always allowing Probie to use him as a punching bag!!! You'll be missed Probie...

  • You know, I love these guys. Ty showed at Probie's funeral and said some words. Total class. Probie would have done the same for him, I do believe that. And, yeah, its just a sport, and they get paid real money, but their hearts are on the line. In history, everyone loves the gladiators. Probert and Domi are loved. I miss Probie already.

  • Probert was dominant.

Domi was just another retard out there who had zero game going on.

  • @mikemikeyf

Probert was "dominant" because of steroids and his tearaway jersey. And the drugs probably killed him.

  • @meanwiddlekid ...Tearaway jersey??? You are stupid...

  • @Savafan313 Probert was known for never tying down his jersey so it would come off easily like Rob Ray. Therefore his opponents had nothing to hold onto and he did. That's why the tie down rule was put into the NHL. But don't let your stupidity hold you back from making idiotic comments.

  • @meanwiddlekid ....You are stupid ....

  • @Savafan313 its not a tearaway jersey but i know what he means players like probert got smart and they decided to fix their elbow pads and their jerseys so that they can get their arm free and really fill the guy thats why in the NHL now they have the jerseys tied down or its a penalty

  • @garrettcollins9 ..The greatest enforcer ever...Period...Happy Thanksgiving!!!

  • @Savafan313 lol hes on the top of my list but its not thanksgiving where i live

  • @meanwiddlekid probert didn't do steroids u fucking idiot. and there's not such thing as a tearaway jersey u stupid fuck
