Wariner is still very young for a 400m runner. MJ peaked whan he was 32 years of age. Merrritt is also good and should get faster, but i think Merritt will never run as fast as Wariner has ran in the past.  I think they both have a few races this year i think Wariner might win one of them, but merritt is a little faster this year.

I believe speedy is correct, Merritt has gone under 44 twice. Wariner has done it 7 or 8 times. That's the thing, these announcers keep talking about how dominant Merritt is, but he's only winning because Wariner is not running the times he used to. He's still young. Some blame the dropping of his old coach (who he has back, now), but I say he's never run the same ever since he got a girlfriend, lol.

Bolt ran 45.2 when he was 17, and he didn't prepare or train for it.

If he trains 400m he will run 43 within 1yr.. i guarantee it.

i think the only reason why usain bolt doesn't run the 400m is because he'd get really worn out with all of the other races he's already running. if he did, i have no doubt he'd smash the competition.
