The roots of the American organizations we see may be traced to Azusa; however, the church was born 31 AD.

If you go deep enough into history, you will find that Spirit-flled people have always been around, though the numbers have not always been large. The history books have been written by Catholics and Protestants, thus it is little suprise that the existence of Spirit-filled believers would be largely ignored, except in slander.

Azusa WAS led of the Holy Ghost! He is the spirit of Truth and therefore cannot be a liar. Azusa was the fulfillment of prophecy:
