I recently fell in love with the Celtic Woman version and have listened to 5 other versions, this is by far the best, but I am a fan of most Judy Garland songs.
What a beauty! How could anybody call her their "Little hunchback"? I don't think I've ever heard a more passionate singer in my life. You can hear her pain when she sings. I appreciate you, Judy. BTW...anybody who's reading this should listen to her version of "Old Man River". It's amazing!
i love her she was the best i have so many collectible items of hers but she was a legend a lonely one its a shame she never knew how much we all loved her.
Anyone who has any doubts that Judy Garland is the greatest voice ever, listen to this sublime definitive "You'll Never Walk Alone" with Judy going to the heights then depths of this classic in a way never before or since with exquisite vocal beauty that is extraordinary...Bravo Judy, and RIP sweet soulful lady...
Judy Garland put 30+ years of pain, suffering, anguish, loneliness, melancholy she experienced into her life into 4 Minutes of perhaps the most emotionally felt songs ever composed.
Judy, as long as you have fans, You'll never walk alone.
Bravo for some of the best editing I've seen in a tribute video. It tells a story, it's beautifully done, done with feeling, emotion, and the images chosen, combined, make for an experience that give you goose bumps and make your eyes well up. Bravo.
I usually hate the "tribute" videos people do, I think they're mawkish and overly sentimental. Your video was the opposite - very tasteful, great choices of footage, and your use of quotes was very effective. Extremely well done, thank you.

Regardless of when; regardless of who; any/all female performers of this song will ultimately find their version always compared to Judy Garland's version. Judy Garland; what a vocal talent!! GREAT VOICE.
To capture the inner power of this song is the great hope we all can rely on and cherish. This song is America's heritage and so is Judy Garland in the assemblage of so many fantastic and wonderful people who have graced our Country.
I love this song it is one of my favorite. We sung this in the chorus. It filled my heart every time we practiced it. I use to sing it all the time. I still sing it. It is a wonderful song.
I loved Judy Garland so much and I remember hearing a radio program back in the 60's I think I was little. Maybe 2nd or third grade. I was visiting my Grandparents who lived in Chicago. The radio program of Judy singing was amazing. My Grandmother was telling me why she sang on the radio what a hard time Judy was having. It kind of broke my heart to know she was so troubled and I prayed for her cause she was the over the rainbow girl and I didn't want her to be so sad.

NOTHING by patti is better than by judy. this is just epic and perfect, as with everything judy sang. she actually said, "if i am a legend, then why am i so lonely"? that breaks my heart.
@yeahright214 no one can touch the emotion Judy Garland put behind a song, she didn't sing it, she felt it, and made you feel it too, just like when Connie Francis sings a song
"If ! am a legend then why am i so lonely?" how heartbreaking...especially coming from Judy...how many of us journey through this life not realizing how loved we truly
are and how so very lonely it makes us? i hope Judy is no longer lonely... Love you, Judy...forever and always...xxxxx
When i am down, I come to this video to be blessed again. Judy was my absolute love and idol and a boy. I remember the exact day and moment, my one sister came running to me to tell me that she died. I cried then and now, at 52 years old, I still cry. She was the most talented, yet most misunderstood person ever. Oh, how i wished someone could have pierced that warm heart of her which just wanted to be loved. I was only 10 yr when she died. I still miss her tremendously!

I think the Judy Garland that I remember and love is best typified at 1:16. The look in her eyes as she tries to be someone else - I weep for her and for her valiant struggle against the demons only she knew. I shed a tear each time I watch this wonderful tribute.
One of her best; and often an overlooked performance.
When "they'"ask what was the big deal about Judy Garland. All anyone needs to do is hear her sing this song. She was among the best voices/singers of the the past 100 years.
@oranger2525 Amen to that. There will never be another Judy Garland. Shes my all-time favorite. No one could convey emotion through music like Judy.. Every song that she sang you felt in your heart. Love her.
Behind every cloud is another cloud.. Lord, what a bleak thought. Poor Judy, despite all the happiness she brought to so many, her own life was so sad. Beautiful song!
TOTALLY AWESOME! I can't say much of anything else, as the other viewers said it all. Thank you so much for posting this wonderful song by a beautiful and talented lady, who died much too young.

One of my favourites of Judy's songs. For me, not only is her voice perfect but the emotion she puts into every single song is absolutely amazing. I could listen to her 24/7 and never get bored.
