  • Full tank

  • 9k sounds so badass.

  • Dude thats obviously a 420a already psh duhh

  • Inspiration! Thanks dude

  • man that car is running lean. Must be nice running e85

  • Nice, dsmlink tune?

  • Sounds sick..

  • It sounds so angry!

  • Nice...Damn that bitch revs higher than my K20!

  • DAMN!! that shit souns MEAN!

  • What internals/head work do you have done to this?

  • 9000 rpm? damnn brahh. My moms jetta tdi only goes 5000 :(

  • Man stop the dsm hate we all have hxs baby now let's prove somethin to everybody else that's hating on us lol if u are who I think u are with the silver 2g Im tuners nice car I've been lookin at it and have been very proud both of yaw got some fast cars so jus drop it lol

  • Sounds great

  • Haha cool story bro. The car looks weak. 25lbs isn't shit for an hx35. I'm sure your all mighty 18g flows more. What's your name on tuners so I can see your fast times.

  • i jizzed

  • why are you even posting? You have nothing to offer. You don't know shit and probably have some riced out POS.

  • lol you just plastered yur stupidity all over this comment blog. love it and now yur thinkin about dudes nuts. god damn guy just keep makin a fool of yurself its entertaining :).

  • Pretty much the same setup with DSMlink. I recently upgraded to an hx40. Im out of fuel though with 1600s, an intake walbro, and an inline bosch 044. Stock lines to the filter

  • Well I just made a comment about how I don't think the numbers are right and it kind of got out of hand. Im not really trying to gain anything just trying to get the facts straight. Your drag due to drivetrain is pointless since we are talking wheel horsepower.

People still actually live in South Dakota lol? My car makes more power since the 10.9 run btw. What's your setup?

  • @nxeclipse The drag from the drivetrain has nothing to do with the hp, but the reason you trap a higher mph. Built 2.0, built head with 272 bc cams, EMS on E85. Whats yours? Yes people still live here. As you can see we drag race in a corn field.

  • The dyno could have been wrong. Happens all the time when they are not calibrated. I do agree that there could be a little difference between AWD and FWD mph though. But my highest trap was 138 with 527whp. Our cars are similar setups, similar weights, etc. Do you think there could be a 13mph difference with just 22 more hp and a little bit less weight being FWD? I don't think so. What's your guys next excuse?

  • @nxeclipse Wow for a guy who thinks hes so smart, you are really uninformed. An over 300lb difference in GVW and the reduced ammount of drag due to the drivetrain added to the 22 more hp is responsible for the 13mph. I still have yet to see what your trying to gain by argueing? If your gonna keep this up, come to South Dakota and race me.

  • haha I'm a dumbass? You can't even spell!! My point is either something is wrong with is car, or he's not making that power. The dyno could be wrong, track times don't lie. If he's trapping only 125 it's not a 500whp car. I don't really care what your retarded ass says.

  • @nxeclipse You make no sense. There is a video of this car being dynoed at 505. Just because you THINK your right doesn't actually mean you are. You make have made 527 at 35lbs, but i WATCHED this car make 505 on only 25. There are 20 different reasons this could be different, anything from the tune, to differences in the motor setups. He never launched this car hard enough, with good tires on it to get any better of a time.

  • @nxeclipse And another thing, comparing MPH on these 2 cars is like apples to oranges. AWD and FWD are 2 different worlds, the higher MPH on the FWD is normal, its easier for you to pick up in the top end, trust me i'd know I've had high HP FWD and AWD cars. Your fighting a losing battle with this argument friend. .

  • @nxeclipse and what did i spell wrong??? does someone need to go back to the third grade and learn something??...i think so LOL! dumbass indeed. thats ok they'll get you on that short bus soon enough my friend ;)

  • @WcKdSRT27

yur? abviously? I'll just save a seat for you on that short bus.

  • @nxeclipse Lol! wow he has to point out my spelling errors cuz he's tired of being wrong sad deal guy. nah you keep that spot. yur* was on purpose since im using my phone and its a habit...and the obviously was OBVIOUSLY a phone txt error...lol thanks tho! :)

  • @WcKdSRT27

Sure buddy. Yur abvioulsy an idiot for asking what words you misspelled. I'm not wrong btw. Most 2g AWD cars making 500+ whp are 130+ mph cars. Come up with all the excuses you want. Maybe he had extra weight in the car cause you were hanging from his nuts?

  • haha you're a tool. Stop lying about your car to try to look cool on the internet. Those are DOT radials btw. Those are the only tires I have for the car. Fix your boost leaks and get a SMIM so you can actually make 500whp

  • @nxeclipse

hmmmm if i search mr2mans videos. is that a video i see of the car making 505whp? weird.

  • @nxeclipse Ive seen the car for myself and it making 505whp @25 psi(w/o nitrous)...wow yur a dumbass that abviously dont know shit. quit bumping yur gums on here and coming up with stupid accusations that you think the car isnt making that power. you lose the argument sir :)

  • Search ASAP eclipse on youtube there is a video. Or look on tuners in the drag strip section. The thread title is 2g hx35 FWD- 10.98@134. I trapped 138 the next pass.

I have a full weight 2g just like you. All you're doing is making excuses. You couldn't have come near my time cause you're not making power anywhere near my car. My car is FWD and I still ran better times than you. My car is a street car I could DD if I wanted. I drove it 40 miles to the track, ran 10s, and drove home.

  • Comment removed

  • @nxeclipse I believe I see slicks and hear some 2 step.......Think that might be the reason your car ran quicker times than mine did? I raced on 400 tread ware stock tires with 30psi in them, launching off the foot. My 60ft times were most likely .5sec or more slower than yours becasue of this. Not to mention I live in SOUTH DAKOTA my friend. Do you really think our track is any good?

  • Weird how I made only 30 more HP and Im FWD, but still managed a half second and 9mph.

  • 4g63love- You're an idiot. How are you gonna tell me what an hx35 can do when not only did I have one, I made the most WHP any DSM has ever made on one? The hx35 is not simply a 50 trim. I went 10.98 with my FWD and trapped 138. Your car isslow thats how I can tell you're not making power. And the fact that you don't know what you're talking about. Keep bench racing though I see there is no point arguing. If you can't push more than 27lbs on an hx35 I would say something is wrong with your motor

  • @nxeclipse Ok i was trying to keep this civil. Idiot huh? Show me a a slip or anything from this 10.98. A link to dsmtuners or anything. I ran 11.5 on street tires with no launch control. I could have easily gotten faster times than you if i was focused on times. Im not going to give you excuses, I drag raced my 2g just to have fun. YOur trap speed of 9mph is simply because of weight difference and drivetrain. As for your half second faster the track and conditions make a world of difference.

  • JeridHawaii, that might be the funniest thing I've ever read. The guy said he spikes 45lbs but only holds 27lbs. You don't need to tell me about Holsets buddy, go try to find a higher HP hx35 Dsm. Good luck cause there's not. To everyone else- Im not comparing this video to my dyno video. I'm comparing this video to actually driving my car and saying my car was a lot faster in 3rd gear. An hx35 at 27lbs does not make 500hp. You have boost leaks if you can't hold more boost.

  • @nxeclipse Wow your car made 30 more hp than mine did on 27psi with a slipping clutch, big deal. Yes the turbo WILL NOT hold over 27psi. My turbo is also a used one with who knows how many miles on it. On top of that, the HX-35 is not that big of a turbo, they can be maxed out easily. My car making 500hp on 27psi as to where yours was unable to is most likely in my engine build efficiency as well as tuneing. I find it funny how you are comparing horsepower by how fast your tach moves.

  • @nxeclipse I believe you need to do check your research again. The HX-40 is the Holset you seem to be talking about. The HX-35 is simply a 50trim, which will be very hard pressed to hold anything past 30psi

  • lol your car made the same power at 25lbs and 45lbs. Your car very well might have made the power you said but this is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Im gonna call bs on the turbo pushing 45lbs as well.

  • @nxeclipse Any turbo can spike to a boost level. The turbo was SPIKING to 45psi. It would only ever hold in the 20's. The car made the same power because the turbo was spiking to the boost level and falling to 27psi. Torque was increased but not hp.

  • @nxeclipse you need to read more brutha...hx-35 will hold 35 psi and beyond...manufacterer facts. DSM forums have massive info on the whole sereis of cummins holset turbos that are swapable.... very unique turbos those holsets. mines on the way as i type :)

  • dam bro how do you get ur rpm all the way up there...

  • @PABLORL1989 Built head and block

  • @mr2man91 i would think so because that engine is working overtime @ 9k RPM.

  • @mr2man91 careful with that redline bro

  • @PABLORL1989 its called an engine management system. aka EMS, or what the noobs call a fully tunable ECU

  • u should swap in a 420a

  • @4g63jojo How about no lol

  • @mr2man91 don't you know that 420aTurbo's are the fastest out there!?

  • @4g63jojo : 420a is a horrible and most unreliable. Lol No offense. 4g63 6bolt is the way to go.

  • @4g63jojo : 420a is a horrible and most unreliable. Lol No offense. 4g63 6bolt is the way to go. I agree with mr2man91. U go bro.

  • @TORiiNDAHOUSE lol i no i was being 100% sarcastic hahaha

  • @4g63jojo are you serious..LOL

  • @4g63jojo that would make it so much faster homie!

  • @4g63jojo 420A Swap all the way...

  • @icehellions Why would you go from 4g63T best built 2.0T block to 420A Hunk Of Shit that Chrysler made on a scrap peice of paper? U sir are a MORON!

  • 10.98@134. best mph was 138. My car is FWD though

  • Im just saying I know what that kind of power looks like. I also know I made 527 on 35 lbs. There is no way an hx35 can make 505 on 25lbs with out nitrous.

  • @nxeclipse What have you run in the 1/4 mile?

  • @nxeclipse

It is fully possible because it happened. The car made 505whp with mid 300s torque. The turbo was maxed out at 25psi. From 25psi to 45psi it made the exact same hp. If you dont believe me since I own the car I can even post the dyno sheet....

  • @nxeclipse I can Post the dyno sheet if you need proof. The reson your car "looks" like it accelerates faster in your video is because its on the dyno with no resistance. This is on pavement.

  • @4g63Love FYI theres just as much resistance on dyno's than on pavement give or take a tiny bit, i cant speak on other types of dyno's but i know for a fact from experience that the inground chassis dyno's , the rollers weigh , if i recall correctly over a ton a peice, think about it even on other types of dynos, if there was no resistance a dodge spirit could get on and floor it and hit redline like nothing, kinda like flooring it on ice but that dosnt happen

  • @4g63jojo Yes there is resistance on the dyno rollers but it is still not the same load as the pavement puts on the vehicle. My point im trying to get across is nxeclipse is trying to compare his speedometer to mine. My car being on pavement actually driving and his on the dyno. His speedometer rises at a much higher rate because of air resistance as well as other factors. His speedometer rises at a much higher rate because of air resistance and other factors.

  • @4g63Love i understand ur point but i disagree slightly(respectively) the rollers on a in-ground dyno are engineered to simulate the same inertia as if the car was rolling down a high way, and pavement is simply the surface it rides on ,the load is the vehicle itself (the weight) and the rollers compensate for that pretty closely, the only part i agree with is the air resistance difference, which i believe the difference of fresh air in a dyno room for the engine would balance that out out

  • @nxeclipse I guarantee you a HX35 can, you obviously have NO idea how capable of a turbo it is with the right tune..

  • @kaosracing386

lol really? I must have no idea. Check my videos dumbass. Specifically the one where I made 527whp with an hx35.

  • @nxeclipse You want a cookie? Just because your running the turbo doesn't mean you know anything about it, so you can read. Cool. So many different variations go into things, your just being a troll trying to come out on top. I promise you I could rape your car with my little 18g in my DSM, PROMISE.

And its funny how his shit wraps out higher and faster than your car, yet your trying to say he's not making 500whp.. What a noob

  • @nxeclipse different setups, different tune. no 2 cars are exactly the same no matter how close the setups.

  • what are the supporting mods? Wheres the dyno vid? Check out my video to see what a 500+ hx35 looks like

  • @nxeclipse Its not my car, so I don't know the mod list. How is watching your car on the dyno supposed to compare to an in car video?

Look on my profile at the video titled: "500whp dsm hx35", that is the dyno vid.

  • I doubt your making 500 on 24lbs btw.

  • @nxeclipse It made 505whp at 25psi, I saw it on the dyno.

  • AWD?

  • @TITFCUKER Yes its AWD

  • V-Tec that Honda!!!

  • 9000rpm :)

  • clutch slippin....yea i was gonna say...500whp and a 60~130 close to 10secs...yea right.

  • Do you have a build thread by any chance on link forums or tuners? What valvetrain are you running?

  • I'm assuming this is a built 2.0

  • @Rockit181 Yes, its a built 2.0

  • HOLY RPM GUAGE! wow!

  • Damn that thing is moving. I like that video man

  • sounds like my turbo...wait it is on my 98 cummins

  • Nice!......good to see ppl fixing up 2nd Gen Eclipses too!.....stock motor or 6-bolt?

  • What are the mods on this thing? It RIPS!

  • Real Sick hopefully mine will pull similar 2x on what valve train sick high rpms!

  • That's a boost gauge. lol What cams and valvetrain to be shifting that high?

  • Nice! Did I just see the AFRs at 20 on WOT?

  • @jjrock5 yea i seen that

  • @jjrock5

AEM boost gauge if I had to guess. If he was really running that lean, it wouldn't have made it through that pull...period

  • @jjrock5 Just an educated guess here... That's his boost gauge.

  • Mitsubishi Power

  • you've reached the goal I have set I with your eclipse, 9000rpm and 500hp

    which mod you have?

  • 7 bolt or 6 bolt?

  • nice bro DSM FOR LIFE

  • Nice! What is your oil feed setup for that holset?
