Without campaign finance reform, progressives or the left in general, does not stand a chance. Our media is controlled by corporations who seek profit, and profit alone, at any cost. It will take massive power outages and a continued decline in living standards, as far as the basics go, for people to revolt. We are nowhere near this threshold at this point...but it will eventually happen. The American people are stuck in a perpetual propaganda mill + will eventually welcome fascism.
