I have the DVD with this episode & get this: around 5:34 - 5:35, there's a brown poster behind Domon's shoulder &, if you look carefully (best if you use the "zoom" button on the DVD remote), the poster says PANTERA.

I'm not lying; that just shows how badass PANTERA was back then (having recently released "Far Beyond Driven" in early 94, the same year this episode came out)!

I love this classic mecha anime series called "Mobile Suit" Gundam series with G Gundam combined with fighting and action and competition representing their nations and countries! I love Domon cuz he has some kickass martial arts fighting moves of the God Gundam (Burning Gundam)!

@Bladecrossexe i explained it wrong......(maybe because its hard to explain)but i wasn't getting at just his appearance, but say this were a completely different anime that was placed in japan, crocket would fit in more than the other characters would. he would have probably played the deliquent role. idk its just his whole persona screams more japanese than the characters that play japanese in this show.

@AdvertChild98 Actually, I like it for the atmosphere and artistic appeal. The world is gritty, painted in watercolour and the music is beautifully crafted. It's a good show for me. And I like Zeta Gundam just as much.

@AdvertChild98 Also ahahaha at trying to apply the complexities of human drama and moral ultimatums with a SUPER ROBOT show. Watch Gurren Lagann and you'll probably see the appeal since that's a more focused effort at bringing it to a wider audience; it's none stop punching and explosions. That's the entire point.

These are like a Michael Bay film, if he ever did a good one. That's an irony which only thickens when you know Transformers begun as a japanese Super Robot franchise too.
