the Colin McRae Dirt games feel like they are made to please North American audiences which is a shame because most of the sport's fansdont live there. This console generation has a severe lack of Rally games and the only one still around is a butchered version of what alot of fans used to hold very dear.

yes you can choose full, visual only, or no damage. if you do however total your car (terminal damage), during an instant replay, you can hit pause and rewind or fast forward in slow motion to a desirable point before the crash and use a "flashback" to revise your route. also a great tool for observing what you did wrong in slo mo

Had the game for 2 days now and yeah belive the hype but talking to freinds who have it theres a bit of a prob with the rally stages,no accelaration off the line, now maybe just maybe cause we all bought the game from the same shop? but i don,t think so.Just another game rushed out and we,ll patch it later!!!

This Game is Awesome!!! Just bought it 3 days ago. The Car-and-ground relationship is phenomenal! Which is what we sadly sense on the lack of action on most Racing Games. I played this game yesterday at goodwood fos and i've gotta say its the best game i've ever played! its now a simulator and not an arcade and dont worry people. the WRC side of the game is still the main part, not an add on. there are mixtures of what you can do, rallying on realistic areas for hardcore rally fans (like me) and there are fun things like stadium events and jumps for normal people making this game absolutly fabulos! and by the way people, the game arrives on the 3/9/09! MUST BUY!
