I've been a bar "tender" for about 2 years and I have to say that this is very true...

If you go into a bar and lean over the bar or shout for someone or say "me next!" before anyone asks, your less likely to be surved.

When I was in busy clubs I usually just ignored the people who wern't waiting patiently.

Also, if your gonna make friends with a Bartender who looks happy, He probably enjoys what He does so ask Him about cocktails, funny tales etc...
