I'd say iMac's are for graphic makers for websites, pictures and whatever you'd like to make as a picture but its not a gaming computer yet! Not many games works for iMac yet. PC is the gaming computer right now but in a few years iMacs could be. Who knows?

@simon4000dk I play games my mid 2007 imac on steam and every thing works well for me any way. The new iMacs with 1 gig of memory on the graphics card and 4 core should run any game.

@drrobertoboogie97 That is how M.S. makes its money since it does not really sell hardware. I also wouldn't pay $300.00 for and os. $29.00 for 10.6 or with the up coming 10.7 for 129.00 is a far better buy.

I work for a Tribal Government here in the U.S. They all use PC. They have a tech who is constantly fixing bugs in the network.

I brought my iMac to work and everybody loves it. They're all ordering MacBook Pros. So now I'm trying to convince the entire tribe to switch to Mac.

I think it's threatening to our IT guy. He's barely certified for Windows.

@LeeJack3939 First i was a Pro-Apple and we had 4 Mac's at home. Then my dad gave me a Windows XP laptop and we throw all those crappy Mac's out. We couldn't even connect to the internet with our Mac's. Now we have 5 PC's at home, and it's much better then a Mac. A computer isn't only about the outside, but also about the inner.

Its actually 1199, 1499 is 2GB 2.66 intel core 2 duo 320 GB HDD. 256 MB ati ram. Not to make you mad, just though i'd help.
