  • I'm 30 yrs of age and was a gymnast in my youth ,primarily on the bars.

How do I start getting back to my old abilities ?

    also

I have less muscle in my right trapezius and delt due to a birth defect .Which muscles should I build up? the lower (opposite?)stomach / back or do I just do extra bldg. on my right arm?

  • @skrinkle2000 My friend had this problem with his chest. What I said was to do exercises normally at a moderate weight. This will allow your smaller muscles to build up to the match the other side, as that won't get any bigger unless you increase the weight.

Thank you, I'll try this advice...I'm also finding that extra stretching of the right muscles is helping with balancing the development and is very important for maintaining progress with the weaker muscles, not just to prevent strain but it seems to help build the smaller ones especially...I'm not possitive, but stretching properly can only help.

    Thanks again.
