actually i have some advice for you about the pain, sense those legs test ur endurance everyday why not chop them off and replace them with beautiful prothetics that will look better than fat bandaged legs and they wont serve you pain everyday, thats what i would do *shrugs*

That most certainly will NOT be necessary. My legs are no longer fat or bandaged since I've endured the hellish treatment. I just wear compression stockings now, and those just look like regular black knee high stockings, so it's no big deal anymore.

Are you trying to be a certin type of person by saying these things to her? I know someone very close to me that has this disease- its not something to make fun of... Lymphedema is no laughing matter. If not treated in time, it can lead to deformation of the affected area. It is also a very hard thing to live with, since there is no cure...only painful treatment.

it must suk to be you then, to be infected by an incurable disease, why does god hate you? now u live with pain everyday, why would u tolerate the disease? why not just cut ur legs off and be free from the infestaion that plagues and could possibly spread from ur legs ang up? if it were me, I'd try to find a doctor to chop those legs off so fast. . .

Yes, it does suck. But I won't let some disease stop me from being who I want to be, or doing what I want to do. I'd rather seek treatment like I have done instead of just getting my legs amputated. Why take drastic measures when there are other possibilities?
