depends what kind of strat and what you like. meican standard strat vs. a tom delonge strat, I would pick the tommy D. It plays just as good as an american Fender strat IMO, looks good, sounds good. the quality is very good. a standard mexican strat wont play as nice and definatly won't sounds as nice for punk rock

TBH the clean from the guitar isn't the best, but if you roll down the volume knob a bit it sounds okay. the distortion is sick though. so much crunch. when I get some more money later, I will probably buy a les paul and keep this one at home in the case and keep it in good shape
