SEPTA workers, I'm rooting for you. I'm a daughter of NYCTA workers, and they get fucked 50 ways from Sunday. Did I like it when they went on strike- no! But we're New Yorkers and we toughed it out. It wasn't without purpose. All anti-unionists shut the fuck up! Only when your parents are forced to live you with out on account of their disappearing pensions will you learn what it means to be middle-class!

These Union guys act like they're making a difference in society. Like they're standing for something. Its all very selfish for them. If they think nobody supports them, THEY'RE RIGHT! All of this won't benefit the riding public. But what does that matter right? SEPTA doesn't owe you jack shit! Yes. The Union is supposed to protect your worker rights, but NOT to hold ransom, riders and facilities.

If you don't like your job quit and go back to school and get a your education. People in Philadelphia don't really care about your selfish demands everyone need to go to work, school, family, friends and love ones. But people like you wouldn't understand driving millions people around is really hard work just sitting there for 8 hours is must be very tiring. Let me tell you this who look like the bad guys here? You against the world in this economy crisis...

You talk like you see your job in total isolation. Like TWU Local 234 president Willie Brown, who said in an interview "we're not in the same economic boat as everybody else."
Wake up or shut up.
When your job or your wages get threatened, maybe it's not just some evil managers trying to hold you down. Maybe things really are that bad for everyone. Or maybe you're just not worth the money any more.

we'll be out if the recession in 5 years.... 11.5% over 5 years doesn't even cover inflation! and come on, a $1250 bonus? that's like waving candy in front of a hungry kid and saying "i'll give you this if you be quiet" ... what they need is a something to feed them for the long run ... living wages that keep up with long term inflation! (and a decent pension to retire on...)

I support the SEPTA workers! You guys and other union members keep our middle class together! Philly riders, hang in there... it's not easy to stick up for the freedom to fight for a better life!

I am going to boycott SEPTA and rally as many people as I can to walk with me on this boycott. I am fed up with TWU striking all the damn time. Enough is enough. what if your doctor decided to strike when you needed to care asap. or grocery stores closed when you need food in your house. This should be illegal.
