Upgraded Trans cooler, intercooler. The ONLY two things i would add to a Spartan kit. Upgraded Trans cooler lowers trans temps the No.1 cause of failure in ALL transmissions. Intercooler will lower EGT's one of the main factors for engine over heating causing major failure in diesel engines. Problem Solved! If there were even any to begin with lol
yah ud have to get new pumps and a cp3 maybe a fass fuel system, its a good truck thoo overall, i think just a dpf deletre with a 275, maybe lower tune should be ok tho

the new speed auto do hold it very well, and the new 6speed auto is the best trans out..a built 4 speed is very good to, just need a torque converter. but they shulda added a better trans in the 6.4.and ford has also had weak trnnies in the past in the 7.3
Disagree. Stock 5R110 behind the 6.4 are holding up to 600hp and 1200+ft lbs of torque, with no mods to the tranny. Not saying its the most efficient because if they build the tranny the truck gets much quicker.
do you have the new 6 speed or old 4 speed. the new 6 speed is the best, and has the best gear ratios. but the 6.4 and the torqshift is really good tho, only with spartan otherwise a stock 6.4 is nuthin great
after 03, there is no 4R100 in use, thats when they released the 5/6 speed Torqushift.
the reason i say 5/6 speed, is it has a total of 6 gears, but only 5 are used at a time, it depends on what the trans temp on wheather is goes to 5th or 6th
the 68rfe is stronger u assrat...and has the best ratios, not to mention its a stronger and more durable motor.the 6.4 and the torqshft is still good, but it could be way better which is why there goin to a new 6.7 pwrstroke.

The torqshift is holding up to 550hp and 1100ft lbs of torque, with the tranny being stock. I would like to see a dodge auto do that.
