I'm not hating, I have an 08 F350 ccsb myself, but there are threads on the org where guys post up their numbers and not one of them is more than 16 average mpg, and most of them are running the same setup as us.

  • this truck has a dfp and cat delete and and cold air intake< and SPARTAN DIESEL tuning Thats it . 560 horse 1120 ft torq .. and spanks all the chevys and dodges.

  • Upgraded Trans cooler, intercooler. The ONLY two things i would add to a Spartan kit. Upgraded Trans cooler lowers trans temps the No.1 cause of failure in ALL transmissions. Intercooler will lower EGT's one of the main factors for engine over heating causing major failure in diesel engines. Problem Solved! If there were even any to begin with lol

  • id rather have a weaker trans than a weaker motor, i doubt the 6.4 will last long with a spartan before you start blowin lift and fuel pumps.

  • u wont have a problem with the lift pumps on these, we did have a truck blow up the injection pump with a chip though

    the new allsion and dodge 68rfe is the best trans but the allison sfits slow compared to the 68rfe and torqshift

  • ya i love cummins not a big fan on the 6.7 but i love the 5.9's sound power and everything too bad they wrapped in shit but idk why pple keep sayin 6.7's are better then 6.4's they have yet too prove it is it worth buyin a dodge for sound of a cummins? im not sure its tempting but ill prolly stick with ford =)!

  • the 6.7 is way better than the 5.9 u dipshit. and they have bigger tunes comin out and the 6.4 trans wont hold. the 5 speed torqshift is outdated.

  • lol no 6.7 is better than any 5.9 it may make more power easily but thats it.. 5.9 is just a better engine since 5.9 went to commonrail didnt have problems with engine but 6.7 has had nothin but problems our Vet here in town had 140k on a 6.7 n engine blew.... my friend has 80k on a 6.7 he hates it waterpump went out n took several months just to get the pump.... and 6.4 trans go out? lol they will go out yes but the dodge auto trans is shit... 6speed and a SBClutch is only way to go with dodge.

  • The torqshift is holding up to 550hp and 1100ft lbs of torque, with the tranny being stock. I would like to see a dodge auto do that.

  • the new speed auto do hold it very well, and the new 6speed auto is the best trans out..a built 4 speed is very good to, just need a torque converter. but they shulda added a better trans in the 6.4.and ford has also had weak trnnies in the past in the 7.3

  • Disagree. Stock 5R110 behind the 6.4 are holding up to 600hp and 1200+ft lbs of torque, with no mods to the tranny. Not saying its the most efficient because if they build the tranny the truck gets much quicker.

  • do you have the new 6 speed or old 4 speed. the new 6 speed is the best, and has the best gear ratios. but the 6.4 and the torqshift is really good tho, only with spartan otherwise a stock 6.4 is nuthin great

  • after 03, there is no 4R100 in use, thats when they released the 5/6 speed Torqushift.

    the reason i say 5/6 speed, is it has a total of 6 gears, but only 5 are used at a time, it depends on what the trans temp on wheather is goes to 5th or 6th

    1st there is no EFI live for any cummins, its a GM only tuning software program.

    And 2nd the 48re needs more than extra clutches to hang behind a modded cummins.

    Show me a 6.7 putting down over 700 hp to the wheels with a stock turbo, stock fuel pump and no internal mods. The 6.4 has already been there and done that.
