  • Has Tyson gotten any better? Everytime I see an uploaded video im happy to see the wonder dog in action! I hope he's gotten better. Take care

  • @himfizzle91 Tyson has major knee ligament problems. He's medically retired from play. His right knee has a 3rd degree Cranial Cruciate Ligament tear (completely torn). His left knee I believe is damaged also. His knees are very unstable. Just the slightest movement backwards or sideways in the wrong direction, and his rear legs collapse from under him and he falls on his butt. Other than the knee matters, he's fine. He eats well, barks and pulls when he see's other dogs, those are good signs.

  • @himfizzle91 Tyson is now around 11-12 years old. The average age German Shepherds die at is around 10 so he's getting to the point where he could live another few years or die. I'm thankful that he has no major health matters other than the ligament damage to his knees. I've gone through this before with many other dogs and that is you take them for granted, then one day something goes wrong with their health. So for now, all his systems are "Good to Go, Ready to Launch."
